Well the way I remember it...Dolan said LB begged him to do that deal..Maybe you should try listening without the Jack Daniels in hand..

most recent statements by dolan (1 month ago), he said no trade gets made unless BOTH gm and coach approve it.

Well I must have missed that one..But the press conference with Dolan and Isiah..Dolan specifically said that LB begged him for the trade...I will look into that and check the context under which it was said...

i.e. Dolan may have said it but I'm going to spin it to absolve Isiah and place all blame on Larry.

Honestly I'm over LB and what happened last year...Isiah will have to answer all on his own about how the team does this season...No more excuses...I'm all for that..He put this team together in his vision and now it's time for him to show what he had in mind...If he doesn't perform then he should be gone and we get a guy who can do the job here...I'm cool with that...Just be a man at the end of the season and say he deserves to be here if they have a good season like I will be if he get canned for having a bad season...DEAL?

That would be all well and good if Isiah wasn't going to keep his job and people wouldn't be claiming he did a good job when we're just a mediocre or slightly below mediocre team.

I just stay out of this stuff now, I think the same arguments have been argued over 100000000000 times.

Isiah Thomas allways liked Jalen Rose, there is no doubt in my mind that he had talks before Brown about Jalen Rose.

Its real simple to me. Jalen Rose was acqired because of Marbury's injury, and to get a draft pick. They felt that Rose might be able to help them last season. They finished comming off a 6 game win streak. The team looked like it was turning the corner, Marbury went down and they were trying to see if they could add a player like Rose to keep the team playing well. They liked the fact that his contract was short, and that he could get them a draft pick. I would say Isiah Thomas was really in favor of this deal while Brown didn't mind adding a player like Rose as well.

Francis on the other hand I believe(like Dolan said) that Brown begged for them to get Francis when it was known that he was available. Brown was probably thinking this was his way to get Marbury out. While Thomas was probably thinking that they could get Francis for cheap, and then move Francis for more value later. Brown then didn't play Francis which then pissed Dolan off. Like Dolan said. The guy begged for Francis then when we trade for him he doesn't play him. How am I supposed to take that?

The whole thing was so crazy its hard to figure out who the lunatic was that signed off on that debacle!

So lets see, you have a HOV coach making a dumb request, and some how Isiah, mills and dolan still think it works.

I don't know a sole on the planet outside those 4 that thought that was a good trade.

The only one of the 4 with any cred in this arena is Larry.

So even if he hit his head on the toilet and asked for it, the other three idiots think its a good idea!

Brilliant!
