holfresh - always tweaking, I agree, one reason Isiah is looking at CWebb where Malik Rose sits and thinking about the difference.

with that said, tweaking after a win is more fun than tweaking after a loss

bring back Rick Brunson!

I think it's obvious that the Knicks are an up n comimg team. Stay the course. Win 35 games this year. Win 42 games next year and BANG--CAP SPACE in 08-09. This team is on the upswing. Just don't make any stupid, shortsighted trades. Three years away from cap space guys. One of the youngest and brightest front courts in the NBA. Do the math. Gotta wear shades cause the future looks bright.

Dont think for a second that CWebb will take Roses role. Try DLees or Fryes.

izybx - why not?

Have you spoken with Webber lately and have something you would like to share with the class?

I'm not on his jock either, but bringing him off the bench, for a ten minute cameo if Curry gets in foul trouble, would not suck that bad.

Second shift

Webber - ball movement

Lee - ball movement and rebounding

Balkman - rebounding and energy

Nate - energy and outside offense

Collins - backcourt size

Mr Earl, all kidding aside, you cant expect a guy who implys he wants to play for a championship to be willing to come off the bench for ten minutes a night behind two sophomores for a sub .500 team. Its not that in that role it would be bad for us, its that he would never do it.

Pass the word

Players don't want to play here without a max contract

Chris Webber is not coming to the Knicks unless he is signed for the MLE and is guarenteed 30 minutes a night. If he's brought here and is given 30 minutes a night than someone is getting screwed and it's going to be either Frye or Lee.

No to CWebb.

I think this is the point a lot have been getting at. It's not where we are now that is the most important thing. If it was, then the reality would be that we are a mediocre team. Which is pretty much what everyone on this site said at the beginning of the season. So there are no mysteries as to where we stand.

But as is always the case with our organization is, where do we go from here? Do we make moves that build around our solid, young core? Or do we make splash, starphuch moves to make the playoffs today at the expense of future development? In the past we have always gone for the splash and have paid the price for this. Here's to hoping that this time it will be different. Come on Isiah, listen to your heart, not the dollar signs!!!!!!!!
I just hope that people will like me
