I'm not trying to needlessly flame you Bip. I actually think our views are more similar than they might differ. It could be a bit of misunderstanding on my part. I think that when we say this team has the talent to POTENTIALLY win 50 games, that's if everything goes right. I don't think this team is a lock to win 50 at least not yet. No team wins 50 games purely on talent. This team is gonna have to come together in terms of chemistry in order for it to reach its potential. Developing chemistry can take time and then sometimes it develops quickly. There's no way to know how fast this team will develop. If this was Isiah's second year at head coach it would be fair to expect this team to live up to its full potential. As it is we've been setback a bit by last year being so awful. There isn't much to build off of last season. I think this is why there are so many moderate predictions. Its not that people don't think we could win 45-50 games based on the talent that's here, but since it takes more than that and we don't know for sure just how quickly this team is gonna come together, there's hesistancy. This system will be new and the starting lineup and rotation will be different. I think it will be much improved, but not up to its maximum potential just yet. In my view this year will be different in that I think things will be much more stable and consistent, which will foster the kind of development of team chemistry we wanted last year.
Nixluva: Personally I think that you and I agree on the topic. I just seem to think that the players have more say in the chemistry issues that we've had than it appears you do. I blame LB for some of the issues last year. But the complete utter collapse of team chemistry last year could have been stopped if we had a different group.
As for everyone else: Mind your business. That includes Allanfan and Solace and the rest of the malcontents on this board. Don't make me pull a Bonn and go somewhere else. You will miss me when I'm gone.
