Wouldn't it be something if Isles and RV were friends in the real world just playing this little charade the whole time?

Please, in the real world RV is the guy begging people to be his friend.

Wow! Someone pointed this thread out to me. No, definitely neither picture is me. I stopped posting here because I didn't appreciate how a few people reacted to me. I like almost everyone here and don't dislike anyone. But I get more enjoyment out of posting on a few other sites. Hope you enjoy the upcoming season. -Bonn.

Oh my! What have we done! What have "I" done?
I guess there are sites that enjoy the inane and irrelevent.

But where is DJ? I do miss Dido so.

Man, what have I started? This post actually started out as a sarcastic response to someone that said they had me "on ignore" even though I know we don't have an ignore feature. Now it's kind of taken on a life of it's own. I think ignore features are useless. If you don't like a poster just use your own ignore feature.

I don't mind when people make subtle jabs at me. I've been told my writing is poor. I've been told I ramble on and on. I've been called gay. I've been called a pessimist. An LB lover. Most of the time they are hilarious as long as they aren't personal. A lot of the times they lighten the mood and get me away from taking the Knicks so seriously. The only time I bristle is when someone questions my parenting skills or brings in my family in a non-joking manner. Or when someone misrepresents my opinion. Or responds to my post to dismiss it and then state what "my opinion" really is. Don't mind someone calling me an LB lover. Sometimes it's actually funny. Just don't quote me on things I've never said. Outside of the 2-3 posters that do that on a regular basis(that aren't actually joking), who cares. I'm a wiseasse and appreciate that sort of stuff in return(except when it comes from enyspree or rvhoss or Allanfan or Solace or NyK and some of the other a-holes on the site)

I don't understand the purpose of the ignore feature. I can argue with the best of them. And enjoy a nice argument in return. As long as you state your opinion followed up by fact, whether I think it's stupid or not is not important. My opinion is no more important than anyone else(being politically correct here, because actually my opinion is more important) and I respect anyone that can be objective. I hate the "the knicks will be good because I say so, and that's fact" crowd on the messageboards but love them on game day. But I truly respect anyone that can say good and bad things about their team. Becasue there are good and bad things about our team.

In summary have no desire to ignore anyone. I don't care if someone ignores me or not, and I don't apologize for sarcastic remarks and relentless attacks I make when I am misquoted or lumped in a category that has nothing to do with me. If they can't take that heat, "put me on ignore" or read my posts all the way through.
I just hope that people will like me

hey, everyone's a wiseasse.

I get you on the personal attack thingy...it's crazy how big internet muscles can be.

I think it's interesting how nasty some of the posts can be from islesfan...I've never understood why he doesn't just post basketball.

And the "I own you" stuff is the strangest of it all.

me, I'm just trying to keep the conversations going...it's important to hear everyone's opinion as it truly does give a rounded perspective on the board.

i never bristle because I understand the nature of internet muscles...in real life, everyone is a loser as we post to message boards to begin with.

some more so than others. well, the fat one's anyway.

martin & Andrew,

here are some of my ideas that i think would vastly improve the boards... feel free to mull them over & incorporate any if you wish:

1 - a new "STFU" button feature along the bottom of the Quick Reply box where the URL, Image & Quote buttons lie - would drastically cut down on reply time when some idiot posts a ridiculous trade proposal that has zero chance of happening, or when certain posters post the same old crap labeling others falsely of being "haters" or "kool aid drinkers" for simply telling it like it is.

2 - a mini C3PO smiley - it's a pain in the arse to keep going back to my forum to track down the emoticon so i can hotlink the image... would be so much easier to hit the little bugger on Quick Reply instead

3 - jessica alba bootie button - anytime i want a quick fix of Jessica's bootie, i can press this instead of having to go to the Jessica Alba thread & scrolling through 20+ pages of posts
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Bip, stop whining give Larry some chocolate, and watch the Rocky Horror Picture show b/c we all know you love it. And nobody attacks your family but me but that's only when I say your son is going to be one of the all time Duke Blue Devil greats. I can't wait.

dude, my son is going to be a football player no doubt. This weekend my wife was running a half marathon. I was there with travis at the finish line. My wife finished and walked to the side of the taped off area away from us. He immediately ran towards her, through the finish line. He gets 1/4 of the way through when some hefty lady runs him over. I thought he was dead. I mean she drilled him. I run over to pick him up to console him. He looks at me with leaves in his hair, a scrape on the side of his head. He turns, gets up and runs to his mother and immediately says with a huge smile on his face "a fa da"(I" fell down"). In Bippity speak this really means "I took that fat biotch out". Then he does what daddy does after he falls on the court really hard. He looked at me and brushed his legs to mimic "brushing it off". I'm guessing linebacker.

My wife is pissed at me by the way for not realizing that he would try to run to her. I would feel bad but how the f is little old bippity going to hold back the next LT when he wants to get to his mother.

That's right, play the victim you loser.

"Waaaa, I'll I'm doing is trying to keep the conversation going"

Pathetic

I'm sure you know all about internet muscles. You're the loser that apparently goes to UK gatherings and doesn't let anybody know you're there or your identity.

If everyone here is a loser for posting on message boards then what does that make you for coming onto message boards to find friends and validation?

LOL Bip. How could Travis turn into a football player? The only way I envision him is as a Chris Paul or Jason Kidd type PG and then head into coaching, as well as posting drivvle on ultimate along with you.

Ignore button is useless.

why?

you're still going to see the post if someone "quotes" the person you ignored.

a "positive/negative" point system should be added.
