I like Breen but he's almost too robotic about his announcing. Gus just has a great time doing the games and he's extremely knowledgable(not to say Breen isn't) I just like Gus better, he has a great voice.

Breen has a great voice too but he takes himself too seriously. he gets really old after 82games.....whats the word im looking for...oh yeah Pansy

okay, for comparison's sake - this Detroit team probably has more talent than the Miami team the Nets lost to. http://www.nba.com/media/magic/HeatNets071106.pdf

The Nets were actually getting beaten handily until a late 12-2 run. Their team has three first round picks(#15, #22, #23), Eric Williams, Tamar Slay and Jerome Beasley.

This Knicks team has four first round picks (#20, #21, #29, #30), but they've supposedly been thrown away on second round talent or worse in some cases... yet this Knicks team is playing inspired team ball. There may not be a lot of scoring on this Vegas squad, but they're hustling, playing defense and passing.

Does anyone honestly have a problem with that? Isn't this what we've been asking for?

looking at these tapes, anyone who says Balkman is Ariza-lite is insane. Balkman is miles ahead of Ariza (and I've always been an Ariza fan).

I'm suprised no props to the baby knicks to crush the baby pistons (who beat the baby suns).

All done without frye.

It was pretty nice looking basketball as well.

thanks for the footage, since they are blacking us out down here in Atlanta... Balkman is quick, he lee and nate should be fun to watch on the floor at the same time..
