I missed Balkman down the stretch and only hope his condition is not moe serious than reported. That length of time for a stomach illness lends itself to something more intense than the flu or even food poisoning.

I think Briggs gets more leeway on this one. I would venture that of anyone on the board, he probably has among the most knowledge of college players. So, if Briggs makes it assessment, it usually has a good basis. But, nobody is right every time. I've heard "haters" discount our own guys, sometimes unreasonably, and heard "lovers" discount other team's guys very unreasonably. We all do it.

no, obviously no one can be right all the time... i've been wrong myself more times than i can remember on some guys just like everyone else has been... but if you're going to put your self on the line by making these kinds of assessments, then you have to man up & face the music when you're wrong about them too like a previous poster said... i don't think it's unfair to be called out when you're wrong about a player, & i don't think he seems to have a problem w/being called out on it either from the tone of his response... so what's the problem?

Naw, I always check in to see whats happening...Been working a different schedule and it just eating up all my time...But I still rooting for them..I'm down on Frye tho, like most people are now...What an absolute bum...Soft as they come...I was pulling for the kid but he wants to be Sam Perkins...Go figure...But I'm still here and hopefully be back in full force when I readjust to my new schedule...
