Ditto on the Bonn theory. I love Bonn (not sexually, sorry Bonny), but sometimes he just acts like a gay robot that accidentally had its RAM cleared and hard drive wiped.

I think Isiah thought it was a good risk to take, because that risk was worth as much as an player to the Bulls. Curry is about as good as anybody in this draft so right now the trade is 50/50. BUt giving up another top 5 pick would make the trade a terrible one..... so that's where the knicks stand on the Curry deal right now.

Mitigating factors aside, it was a ****ty risk. Period. A top-3 lottery selection can net you a player better than Curry either through the draft or a trade. We gave up much more. And as you pointed out, if we end up geting suckered next year as well, it'll be all the more horrendous.

Here's how a Bulls fans is looking at the Curry trade:
"With the cap space coming from not giving curry a 8mil a year contract. So if we sign say Nene for that 8 mil deal it'd be Nene, Ty Thomas, Sweetney, Viktor and the 07 Swap for Curry. A heartwarming topic these always are."

Maybe they sign Nazr. MAybe JAckie Butler. Maybe Seatle doesnt match a big offer to Wilcox. Pretty crazy what that Curry trade did for them
