draft express has Noah ranked no.1 right now. just saying, a lot of people have been impressed by him.

All this hype reminds me of when Maryland won the title and Chris Wilcox had some very good games.

Wilcox is pretty damn good. I would trade Curry for Wilcox. He actually rebounds and defends. Sure, Wilcox maybe came out too early, he was also stuck behind Brand for most of his early career.

I don't think Noah will stay at no.1 through the workouts, I'm sure Gay will move back in to top 3 consideration, but Noah is a lock to be top five if he comes out. He's going to be very good, too.

this is truly the worst draft in nba history if the #1 pick is going to be used on the quintessential role player!

he's no role player. what are you smoking? He's going to be better than Camby. He can do things Camby could never dream of doing, like dribble and pass extremely well.

a lot of role players in the nba can dribble and pass? Can he shot or create his own shot? if he's the #1 pick than this might very well be the worst draft in history

I'm with you Guns. I think Noah's just gonna be a good role player. People are acting like he has Lamar Odom's ball-handling skills, when he's simply a decent dribbler. It will be a nice small asset but he's not gonna be able to dribble through traffic in the NBA.

Overall, this draft ain't that strong in terms of stars, but it's great if you want to find real nice role players. I think the guy who compared Noah to Marcus Camby was right on the ball, and that's a pretty good thing. Marcus Camby has semi ball handling skills as well, and he's the defensive player of the year and an MVP candidate if he's a healthy ball player.

Not saying Noah will be like that, but he's got poor Mans' Marcus written all over.

I don't know what everyone is watching but Eddy Curry is terrible, so what if he can score if he gets the ball deep in the post, he can't defend is so grossly out of shape every year and doesn't really care about the game its brutally obvious...

He is about as athletic as any center in the league and doesn't average 7rbs or 2blks thats pathetic....

This draft isn't as bad as everyone thinks, Isiah has had a lot of room to manuever regardless of what people have said, he didn't have to lock himself into Crawford, Marbury, or Francis, didn't need to trade for Malik, I'm sure he could have worked a sign and trade for a pick with Nazar, didn't need to sign baker to get crawford and didn't need to exchange our second round pick with Mo Taylor who is terrible....and JJ? and this stupidity about our picks he derserves to be shown the door for bringing in all these malcontents who don't care

I would rather just keep getting assets together, I would rather have Noah, Thomas or Aldridge because they are very athletic and can add weight to their frames and they play hard somethig Curry does not...So we wait a couple of years and let Frye put on muscle and play him a center whats the worst that could happen we are terrible for another year which we are anyway and add another player....

His game reminds me ALOT of Varejo on Cleveland except he has a tad more polish on the offensive end.

exactly, I think the kid is a good player, but star? geez, and you are correct, lamar is a better shooter, is the same height, a better rebounder, better post player, better ball handler and Lamar is not considered a star. Go figure... the overhyping is just ridiculous....

It is highly unlikely that he will come out. His family is wealthy by any measure. He improved by leaps and bounds this year and should understand that the difference between being a No 1 this year or No 2 next year may be the difference between being a journeyman and a star because of the basketball education he will get during the next year or two at the college level.

This year's draft is weak. Next year's isn't expected to be. He might go top 5 this year or around 15 next year, which is a huge difference in money. How wealthy is his family? Maybe if they have dozens of millions of $$$ I could see what you're saying.
