the one thing i will say about kg is that he never had that go to move at the end of games to just take over and win. i love kg and he's definitely a top 5 nba player but it's the one thing that seperates him from ewing. ewing would demand the ball and take over games. kg is not like that. but with steph, francis, and curry, that's actually a GOOD thing.

i'd say KG is top 10 or 15, not top 5:

There's no way KG is top five anymore. He also left out Kirilenko and Dirk.

Rumors of KG's demise seem to be overstated. I don't watch TWolves games so I can't say anything about how his D or 'intangibles' have been lately. But as far as filling up the box score goes, KG is still top 5: 5th overall with a 27.2 PER. The only big man with a better PER is Brand. Seems to me like KG is still in effect, and I bet he'd be even better if he weren't toiling away in obscurity for a small market with a team full of scrubs.

Moot point though, we ain't getting him.

Supposedly this deal is still somewhat alive, with Frye being the centerpiece.

I wouldn't do it, but I mean, the roster makes no sense with two 29yr old guards who don't have a lot of years left as elite players and two 22yr old bigs who have a lot to learn and a lot of crap in between.

But supposedly McHale is under pressure to do something and KG feels like it might be time. Thank god we only have one more day of this.
