Bynum/Aldridge I would have taken in a heartbeat and your not paying 10 million a year to Curry......

I agree with you on this 100%. What's wrong with rebuilding for a couple of years with the following youngins in the pipline?

Bynum
Lee
Nate
Woods
Ariza
Aldridge or Morrison
Sweetney

No JJ & Curry

There's nothing wrong with it except I'd like to pipe in my 2 cents - the grass is indeed always greener. When Bynum and Morrison or ALdridge or whoever don't pan out then all the threads say "S**t we could have had Frye and Curry!!!"

I remember quite a few loved Chris Wilcox.

Nene has yet to leave his mark.

Everyone should have taken Amare!

i agree that this is all hypothetical, but i always like bigs with toughness who can block shots, rebound, be a force down low. i don't like finess type bigs. so naturally, i liked bynum's raw talent and potential better than fyre's jump shooting game. curry's never been a hard worker. he's got great potential physically, but i always suspected that he may not have a good head on his shoulders. he's got great body but the dude doesn't rebound ot block shots. he's a softie with good offensive skills, but he turns over the ball half the time he touches it. that ain't my kind of bigs i want to build my team around. i'd take bynum.

Nene got hurt so we can't judge, Wilcox is not in the right system you put him on the Suns or the Nets with an uptempo pg and look out, he is just really stupid, but its not to say he doesn't try

talk about making excuses.... why can't it be that Wilcox is not a hard worker and has no heart? why can't it be that nene is a bad rebounder and shot blocker, which he is? the grassis always greener and people will always make excuses for the non-knick player.... typical..

BRIGGS- I'm not trying to say I know more about the prep/college circuit than you, But I feel I'm pretty knowledgeable aswell. I'm a huge colleg BB fan (notice my screen name which comes from big east which was know as the beast bakc in the glory days of the 80's) Any way, I'm a susbcriber to recruiting handbook and prep star magazines and attend AAU camps when I have the opportunity.

I heard about Bynum when he was a junior. never saw him play, but read numerous scouting reports on him. When he signed to Uconn, automatically that tells you he has some talent not to mention he was top ten by the time the spring evalutions came out. The problem some people had with him was that Calhoun said he wouldnt have started for him this yr. That turned people off a little because if he was such a dominant post player, why can;t he start in college? Obvioulsy uconn had experienced post players but most people (mike Francesca) didn't understand that.

Since I didn;t see him play in person, I wasn't sure about him. The guy That I wanted the Knicks to take was Gerald Green. I saw him several times and with Tim Thomas being in the last year of his contract, I thought he could be the future SF. We already had Sweetney, so I didn't see a need for Frye. Despite being 6'11, it was obvious to me, if not everyone else that Frye was a PF. It wasn;t strong enough to man the center position.

brendan haywood didnt score 16 points until he was a junior at NC and 21--go look it up, please step down with the dumb stuff

Nate/Ariza or Nate/DLee for bynum? Would LA even look at this offer?
