Guys calling names, and each other out to fight on this board? That ain't no good.

It's funny how the posters who are supposed to be the optimistic and "real" fans tend to be the one's who make the personal attacks on anyone who says anything critical about the team.

funny indeed..

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/insider/columns/story?columnist=carroll_john&id=2244685

its an insider article... not cbs (maybe he writes for both)

Jamal's doing what LB tells him too. Yea, he passed up a good shot but he's got a clue... its Larry's clue.

yup... totally sucks. I'm embarrassed to be involved.

Rise above... you too Rv. (I know nobody is more agressive than me when insulted, so I am not one to talk really.)

I see your point about not wanting to be yanked, but for some reason the way you say it makes JC sound selfish. I think everyone knows they will get yanked, JC is no exception. These guys just want to win and play ball. They know how good LB is and they all want to do well here. Crawford looks like he's learning to put his skills into a winning style, but thats just me. I'm biased... I like the kid.

JC's
FG% is up
3 FG% is up
# of 3's taken are WAY down
FT attempts are up

I like JC too fish. Go ahead and wear your heart on your sleeve. I am always harder on those who I like, in all aspects of my life. I actually think JC is(was?) a selfish player, but he seems to be a very nice person. His selfishness comes from a lack of understanding, not from a desire to be "the star" ala Marbury. The problem seems to be that he is a streetballer in the NBA. But the day he harnesses those talents properly...watch out!

Anybody who dosen't like JC can meet me in times square so we can get into some fist-a-cuffs. Who wants some!

I remember when he passed on that shot and everyone moaned and I shouted out "Good job Jamal" (No sarcasm) and people looked at me strangely. At that point, we were not quite hot yet and didn't have the lead and taking a 3 pointer might not have been appropriate for the moment. We still needed to get the offense in a rhythm. He gave the ball to Marbury and he missed a much closer shot, but it showed that we weren't settling for 3s (Which also, 1 jacked up 3 often leads to another and then another) but it showed that we were attacking and we were gonna come back. Soon after, Jamal hit like 4 or 5 shots in a row, right when Channing was done being hot, and then we took off.

Just read every response to anything I say critical about the team or a player.

I kinda had a feeling we were closer to being on the same page as it seemed.

Ask the guys who have met me.

Not to go off topic, but a question to Oohahahaha. How's post surgery going?

Thanks for asking Allanfan, I am feeling much better now (I have a thread in the OT forum.). The doc pulled about 25 staples out of my knee on Monday and I felt better instantly. I have two vicious-looking scars that are about 3-4 inches long where he made incisions. Beginning yesterday, I can actually sit in a chair, and that is probably why I am posting so much. I am starting physical therapy on Monday. I have about 6 more weeks on crutches, which is a drag, but I am looking forward to walking and playing ball like a relatively young man should be able to do, and that makes it all worthwhile.

Since we're off topic, Enyspree, how's your knee doing? One of my teamates recently gave me an update on how he's doing 5 months post-ACL surgery and it reminded me of your situation. How many months has it been now for you? (I hope you didn't give up on this thread 50 replies ago! )

so far so good, unfortunately, I'm leaning towards the new and improved JC and witnessing a player currently making $6 mill a year building towards earning his $10 mill salary (which isn't until 2010!!!) big time AND making the all star game then.

All because he's listening to LB and playing better.

I hate to say it, but fishy has a point...he's still a dck though.

I am giving props to Crawford and Ariza.

Today Crawford made the simple plays and the nutty shots WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT. He keeps this up and he is a premiere player in this league.

Ariza showed why I think he has star potential--making a real difference in the game with his defense and athleticism--not to mention making a spectacular play for the second game in a row. He is a consistent J from being a pretty good impact player.

J. Crawford 33 8-17 2-4 4-5 1 2 6 1 3 0 0 22
T. Ariza 27 3-5 0-0 0-0 1 5 1 1 3 1 4 6

right on with Jamal... I still dont see the Ariza star potential but thats cool. To me he's en route to becoming a great role player but if either of us are right I'm thrilled. I love the kid and want to see him do well. Those dunks were off the charts.

He can Crawford off the bench really energize that line up in the way Camby and Spree used to in 99
