He should have scored at least 25 points in those 15 minutes!

Come on Killa, he was a complete non factor on offense and especially on defense. How can you even suggest that he was "pretty damn impressive"?

12 points in 15 minutes is a non-factor? He wasn't as effective as he could have been, but do you realize how effective it is to score that many points in that little bit of time?

Dude, they were getting blown out with him in the game in the first quarter and they let the Wiz pull away in the 4th with him in the game at the end. You tell me, how effective is that? When the Knicks made their runs it was with Curry on the bench.
Are saying Curry made us lose. There are alot of reasons we lost. Do you think we will win games with curry on the bench?

I never said anything like that. If he was on the court for much of the 1st quarter when we were getting run off the court and he was on the court for much of the 4th quarter when the game got away from us then how effective could he have been? He's not the sole reason why we lost but he's certainly a part of it.

Eddie needs to stay on court for 30min and take 15-20 shots.

If he can get in and stay in shape to play 30 min of basketball with concentration and focus, I think he could score 20 easily. As for rebounds, he just needs to keep his head switched on and box out more.
I see him as a 20-10 guy.

I'm sooooooooo happy that he got him in Knicks jersey!

I'd say it depends how they scored their points.

To the extent that they made lots of tough jumpshots (esp. in the 4th) including 3's I would say him being on the court for that is irrelevant.

To the extent that they were driving all the way to the hole and or getting offensive rebounds, I'd say it was his fault. Keep in mmind that as a team we owned them on the boards though.

He only played 15 minutes, any way you slice it, he is not the reason they got the lead that they did.

I will say that, even though he put in 12 points in 15 minutes, he could have scored even more, and for each shot he missed and they made the lead was exacerbated.

Ok, it is officialy time for me to go to sleep, I'm going to far now.

11pts, 3 rebs and 0 blocks

I'm sure he'll have much better games but my point all along was that he would have enough games like this and Friday's game that to predict 20/10 is pretty far fetched.

BTW, what's with 2 consecutive games without a block? Curry is like Big Stiff but with a much better offensive game.

Your right but you'll get Bonn trying to spin it by saying he played well in the 15 or so mins he played.

Curry has offensive skills but his terrible defense, lack of hussle and constant foul trouble make him an ok center. I've said it all along i'd deal Curry for Kstic in a heartbeat. Krstic is 4th option on Nets yet he is avg'ing 15.3 points 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks and is only 22 years old.

That's not spin. He DID play well on offense in the minutes he played. He also is weak on defense. He can be as great as he wants to be if he works on his conditioning and stays out of foul trouble.

Spin. Spin. Spinaway. He had terrible game. Your starting center that everyone said "is that special big man that comes around every 15 to 20 years" plays less than 20 mins? That hurts the team. Simple as that. All i heard about Sweetney was that he was in foul trouble all the time. And couldn't help us on bench. Curry is same way.

I think Isiah had a quote similar to that.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

That doesn't surprise me. It's an unwritten component of any GM's job to spin. I thought he was suggesting that posters here thought Curry was a once every 20 year type of talent.

Curry vs. Krstic. That's an interesting question. I wonder how many GM's would take Krstic over Curry. I think I would have to take Krstic because he's more of a complete package at center and given a few years to develop he's a better bet to average 20/10/2 than Curry is.

I don't recall Nalod ever making the 15 to 20 years comment!

My sentence is 15 to 20 secs of having to read your posts. I'm told I got off lucky, but I'm not sure when the good luck part will kick in!

Nope; you misunderstood. 15 seconds to read your 797 posts. .018 seconds per post. You're right, though; they're really not worth that much time!
