I agree that the #8 pick was definitely a HUGE mistake, as I have not been overly impressed with Frye in Summer league. And it's not just Bynum. There's about 4 or 5 other guys that we would have been better off taking, like Granger or Gerald Green. However, this is all in the past now, and we have to start rooting for Frye that he becomes a real good player for us.

oh definitely...trust me I am rooting for him! because chances are if he does well our team wins games. its just that what I've seen from him so far coupled with the flaws that were talked about before the draft like softness and consistency issues has me a little worried.

Eh guys, at the end of day, we did not pick Frye at 8.

The Knicks GM did. Considering how bad a lot of the Knick GM's decisions have been in the past, and the present, too, if if keep harping on it we'll just keep ruining our days.

So lets just move, accept yet another bad pick in the draft, and not act like we are suprised when we suck badly yet again.

This is the Knicks, they are bad, come to terms with it, they werent gonna get better for another 3years even if we got Bynum or Green. In that span maybe we will do something right for a change. Who knows. But Frye is in the past, just forget about him.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

wow....sounds like you got a case of Layden-isitysis.

you should probably get some whiskey for that.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

this system has never won ans you've said it countless times before. how did you go from being a Phoenix hater to worshipper of that style in less than a months span? i dont get it lol

Since this post has nothing to do with Bynum/Frye comparisons, I'll roll with it. If you remember correctly, I said before this years playoffs even started that the Suns would not be able to win a championship until they added a interior player that would 1. move Amare to the PF and 2. supply much needed defense to stop opposing big men. Well now they have one. If you think for a second that the Suns aren't going to push the ball next year your nuts, they are still going to push the ball and now they are actually going to have defense on their team. This is why I believe the Knicks can one day win with this system, at some point in time they are going to HAVE TO add a starting big man who can guard opposing big men, I don't think Frye is going to the be that guy, but he's going to be a real nice help defender.
