Lee is a fantastic athlete, though and a great finisher. We needed guys like that.

You're not kidding, we haven't had someone who could really finish strong with a dunk since Camby.
How many dunks did Nazzy, Thomas and Thomas miss last year? 300? Marbury always has good assist #'s but you know what they would be with better finishers?

I think Q is probably going to play a lot at sf. Really could use a pure shooter.
Frye is a good shooter, but we do have a lot of guys who need to get more consistent on their shots.

So David Lee is one half of the reason why we gave up our only legitimate NBA center. One that was good enough for the World Champion Spurs but not for us. That's great.

Another PF and a token white one at that. Pathetic.
What do you think of the Q-Rich and Nate Robinson for Kurt Thomas trade?

I'll let you know when it becomes official. I want to see the actual trade before I comment on it.

Pay attention. We gave up Kurt for Q and the 21st pick (Robinson).

I missed the announcement? My bad, can you please post the link of the official trade? Maybe it was on some NBA transaction list. It shouldn't take long for you to find it.

Watch the draft my man and name one trade that ever came up on the espn draft screen saying a trade has been made and then it didn't go down. Shouldn't take long. I'll even let you go back a few years if you'd like.

So you're saying that if isn't yet official, like I said, and you're just pretending that it is, for some unknown reason.

I never said that it wasn't going to happen or even that it wasn't about to go down. I just said that it wasn't official yet and I was going to wait until it was before I commented on it. Apparently that was way too much for you to comprehend. Sorry, I'll try to dumb it down for you next time.

Value-wise the best pick of the Knicks draft. This is a great pick. He is a smart player and very athletic. He moves the ball well.. a good passer, can shoot, can defend. He'll make our team and be a contributor for six years.

With the picks of Channing, Lee and hopefully Nate and Q it is obvious what direction Isiah is going in--we are going to be playing a very entertaining up and down style of ball--it's going to be great to watch next year.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

I'm warming to this idea.

Who else doesn't understand the difference between "official" and "unofficial"? Unreal.

The more I read about Lee, the better I feel...

Still not thrilled or anything because I think Blatche can turn into a very good player, but as a Knick fan I'm anxious to see what the rooks can do.

This guy is good.. You need role players, not just developemental types.

Your killin this guy, but he's a real good athlete. He can jump, run.. he was hidden in Donovan's system because they needed him to play people down low, and set picks. He was mis-cast..

He was real good in Chicago.

Why bother wondering about pick #54? It was part of the Q trade

Be fair. How many times has this rumored trade changed since it was first reported last week? First it was KT for Q, then it was KT and a pick for Q, then it was KT for Q and a pick and now it's supposed to be KT and #54 for Q and #21. But it's unreal that I won't comment on it until the official trade is announced and I know exactly what the trade was???

If you've been reading my posts, you'll know that David Lee was on of my favorite players at the 30th pick. I read a couple of things that said he measured a little higher than 6'9...with his leaping ability and tenacity I think he can play some quality backup C. A lot of people compare his athelticism to Chris Andersen. The one player I see when I watch him, is Scot Pollard back when he was on Sacramento. If you remember when Pollard played there he was a tenacious rebounder and great energy player off the bench...that is the kind of player that I see Lee as being.
