Wow, everybody knows what "passing versatility" means. What they teach kids day one.

Magic talked about it in his HOF speech. Steve Nash opened a restaurant called "Steve Nash's Passing Versatility Steakhouse." Wow dude.

The rookie exception can be used on Diawara, Pate or Nnaji. I think most would have bet on Nnaji because he was a higher pick/played in Europe, theoretically more developed. That said I think Diawara might have an edge on Nnaji. Someone with his motor/athletic ability on the wing can find more ways to disrupt the game.

2 ways to me are going to be Nnaji, Pate and McCullar. Or maybe Nnaji goes back overseas for another season and you can keep a guy like Watson or Beachamp. Maybe McCullar gets rostered as a veteran min if we don't look to sign someone else.

Yeah this was my guess as well. Diawara for the second round exception sounds perfect.

Does Diawara remind anyone of a raw Pascal Siakam?

100% looks like a young Siakam out there in terms of just physical size and movement. Obviously that probably isn’t the likely outcome but it doesn’t take much imagination to see. If we want a more attainable comp, watch Jonathan Mogbo from Toronto last year. In terms of size and movement, and just raw skill in the open floor that’s a guy who might be a realistic outcome. But I think he’s got some upside, maybe beyond a typical late second round guy.

He kinda reminds me of a less skilled Tim Thomas without motor issues.

I bleed orange and blue for life.

Not sure if i am missing something here but if Nnaji is one of the favorites for a 2 way contract why they did not give him significant minutes even in 1 of the games? They did that with all others mentioned above.

Some media said he reminds them of a younger less developed OG.

If I were him, I would ask for a copy of one of OG's paychecks to put in his locker to look at everyday for motivation to develop a jumpshot.
