![]() This is why I get frustrated as a Knicks fan. Our last "draft pick" is joining Lebron James as a rookie.
30 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. Let me know when Mitch, Sims or IHart gets in this range. I believe Mitch had 20 rebounds before, but doubt he ever gets 30 points (on putbacks.) Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: |

Since you're going to go there, Mitchell Robinson once scored 23 points in 29 mins, which is higher per min avg than Duran's 30 in 42 (double OT). He's scored 22 in 27 mins, which is an even better rate. Grimes got 33/6/4 earlier this season. This sort of stuff is just too easy... |

Pretty much all at the rim with no outside game. How is that any different than Mitch? Duren appears to be a very good rebounder with solid interior D even as a rookie. But I'm always careful about budding "all-stars" (at least that's what some are calling him on this board) on crappy teams. |

So nothing against Jalen Duren, but he is the current focus of draft regret for some Knicks fans. Never mentioned is that trading that pick has brought us future assets. Also never mentioned is what he would bring to the table to play ahead of Mitch when healthy. Or would he push the valuable IHart and Sims to the bench? Or that he is doing it on a lottery team. And haven’t we learned not to blow your wad on one game? Seems like a fine young player though. |
