I’m choosing Kira Lewis Jr over Okoro. He’s still only 19 and was a sophomore. We should trade back, get another asset and pick him. Please Knicks!!! Please!!!

no disrespect but i sooooo don't get the trade back theories.

we need impact players, not depth. do we really think we're so much smarter than other teams that we can get our hidden gem impact later in the draft and get another pick

some teams have that ability; us????

I'd say it depends on who is there and what is offered (of course), but mostly I agree. Don't get cute.

Okoro just has the body, footwork, and physicality on top of the gym rat engine. I hope they get him and then we will all find pleasure in watching Okoro/RJ physically overmatch guys on both ends.

I'm also still convinced Knicks make a move for a PG via trade or sign one regardless of what they do in draft.

Im with you on Okoro as much as it pains me to not get a shooter

This list is missing (or did I miss them?) Jalen Green (will be the 1st or 2nd pick) & Jonathan Kuminga (will get picked in the top 5). Both of these players opted not to play college ball and are in the G league instead. If we have a G league next yr.

Honestly I want to gather assets to try and move up next year. It’s that good of a draft we could burn 3-5 picks to move up for the BPA and I would be ok with it.

Knicks got a nice line up of picks next year. Theirs, Dallas pick and 2 second rounders (CHA and DET) and a Dallas 2013 pick to offer up. Those second round picks should be in the 30s

Yeah I would say try to get at least one more 2021 pick. Then depending on the lottery offer them to teams and see who will allow them to move up..... Or if say the knicks like the talent they can get with one pick...... use the other ones as well. 2021 is stacked with talent so they can consolidate or move up.

It's like when I saw that video of Toppin's defense- once you see such horrors, you can't forget them!

I litterally was just watching Mike down on Toppin's D. Love every part of his offense but I just can't rationalize taking him. I've been leaning away from Vassell and more towards Bey despite the reach.

Good clip. It shows the difference between Okoro and Vassell defensively. Vassell is a better team defender, not that Okoro is too shabby in that department. But one on one, Okoro is clearly better. The difference in physicality and athleticism just shows. Okoro gives you more of the versatility and stopper skillset that Ron Artest showed while Vassel is more of a defensive captain along the line of Tayshaun Prince.

The NY Post has is picking up Robert Woodard at 27 in their latest mock. I wouldn't be upset with this pick. Reminds me a lot of Wilson Chandler when we drafted him, a little raw offensively with a good motor and plus athleticism. Shows good promise on his 3 and can conceivable guard 4-2, depending on the matchup.

I think starting today or sometime very soon teams can already watch in person workouts from the draft prospects. Im curious to know who are the prospects they will want to watch in person

I really like him. I'd be surprised if he falls to us with the late first but he is definitely a no brainer. Great passer, shooter, and plays pretty good defense. I feel like he could become an all star contender if he ever figures out how to consistently create his own shot.

I also love the confidence he has on him. The more I think about it the more I really want him.
