Seeing as they took a 62 win team to seven games, they looked fine to me.

I like him- I miss the old mid-range game, I think it's a shame it's declined so much. I find the 'either three point shot or drive' offence of today boring.

They'd be even better if they added Tyson and Deng this offseason.

well deserved for durant..

Blake griffin finished 3rd, does that make him a top 3 player? just sayin...

noah finished 4th... I say good for him and a job well done this year, especially with the losing one of the best players in the league in rose..

Finishing third in MVP voting for one year doesn't make him the third best player in the league. I still think LeBron is the best player in the league, even though Durant won the MVP this season. I'm not a Blake Griffin fan, I don't like his antics, he's soft, he certainty isn't top three, let alone top ten. He doesn't dominate the boards like Howard or Noah, and can really only score in the paint. Shoots 38% outside the paint, and 23% from three. If it wasn't for all the flashy dunks and three feet out jumpers his percentage would be way down.

oh I agree with you, but that argument was used to defend a certain player last year as being a top 3 player in the NBA.. I don't want to go there, just checking to see if the same criteria applied..

I am not sure what you mean about antics.. the kid is one of the hardest working players in the NBA, especially off the ball and off the court.. and in all fairness he has scored more this year and his boards are down. He was a 10-12 rpg player before this year.. one of the reasons his boards are down is because he also plays further away from the hoop at times.. his jumper has gotten much better and is slowly becoming a weapon. not sure what clipper games you are watching. Also add that he plays on a team with the NBA's leading rebounder Deandre Jordan.. he also averages close to 4 dimes a game.. not bad at all..

why are you holding three point shooting against blake? I mean he should not be shooting threes, that is like saying shaq was a horrible three point shooter.. who cares, in the paint blake shoots over 50% and 76% at the rim.. that is all that matters for a guy with his ability...

If it wasn't for all the flashy dunks and three feet out jumpers his percentage would be way down.

I am not quite sure I understand that.. it is like saying if not for all of ray allens great shooting touch and quick release his shooting % and amount of threes made would be way down.. well no kidding.. LOL

the fact that blake can finish at the rim and do so at a high percentage is what makes him the player he is.. what do you want him to do.. start shooting threes to satisfy the fans that want to nitpick his game?

they contest everything on defense, they pass, set picks, take good shots.. when you have smart players with a high IQ and desire to do what it takes to help the team.. this is the result...

the spurs leading scorer is parker at 17ppg.. a whopping 17ppg....

the spurs core 3 players.. combine to average 13 assist per game, I guess not great, but still very solid.. as a team, they led the league in assists.. no surprise there..

The shooting % of parker, duncan and manu are pretty much 50%, 50% and 47%.. that is amazing and very efficient..

the guys on the team that takes the most threes are actually guys that can hit them and a lot of them are shooting over 40%, as a team they are right at 40%

This is such a well put together team.. no noticeable egos, no noticeable head cases, no one needing to stat watch, no one taking 22 shots per game... everyone seems to have something they do well and they do it consistently..

one of the greatest NBA teams in the last 30 years? I mean you have the bulls, celtics and lakers of the 80's, the lakers with kobe and shaq.. the bad boy pistons.. The spurs have to rank right up there...

The Kobe shaq teams were not this pretty and unselfish to watch. Kobe was hoisting shots from the moon. There was nothing to like about his offensive game. His defense was superb.

This SA team is a current high flying ball moving basketball team.

The radio announcer last night kept saying that they are running seven seconds or less sets.

no such thing as a "set play" in that ridiculous SSOL offense.

How 2 teams decided to take a chance on him this season, I will never know. Bad attitude AND no knees.

I say that we should get Rodman too

Odom, Bynum and Rodman front line would be quite theatrical (and stoned).

Hibbert looks like a different guy tonight. Have to wonder what happened. Was it Bynum being sent home? His teammates talking him up?

Just woke up but it seems like Indy is falling into the same trap Houston did trying to get Howard(much better player) going.

Woke up?

I fell asleep right before the game. Then awoke to 5 minutes left in the 2nd. lol.

Side note: They just showed Beal's older brother who is a big man but he has two little brothers(twins) too that are also big.
