Do you know when the storm hit San Juan? Wednesday. The US approved an emergency declaration for the Virgin Islands on Monday, giving FEMA the go-ahead to coordinate disaster relief efforts there. The US knew Puerto Rico was in direct line 48 hours later.

Your BS about going from a 1 to 5 is utterly useless information and has nothing to do with anything. The pure nature of hurricanes is that they show up unexpectedly.

Anyone who has followed this KNOWS the logistical nightmare this country has. The port was wiped out their airport wiped out and then it ran through the entire country. BRIGGS, Trump is in contact with the PR governor and he is now saying the right things but things are not getting done as quickly as they should and if Trump had spent last week focused on PR instead of the Black NFL players, he could have spend things up. It is only after people started complaining about why the president was sending dozens of tweets about the NFL but no tweets about PR that this PR push started. That is why he is being criticized.
