Not sure why people complain about this. Because they are not playing? Others would complain if they said nothing.
Fact is people want to know where their employer stands. But don’t come to work you don’t get paid.

Nalod does not view Dolan as racist. I don’t view him as a Republican. I see him as an *******. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

Because it's groupthink among bball writers- laugh at the knick at every opportunity, blame Dolan for everything, hijack anything and make it about Dolan. Literally just posting the laughing emoji is instantly herald as some sort of hilarious put down as long as its about the Knicks. To get an idea how shallow and superficial these people are, check out this by Chris Mannix:

So Dolan gets roasted for a weak tweet not backing BLM a few months ago. But according to Mannix all owners should really do is tweet well and do some sort of fund and that's it, and anything else is asking too much. What a joke.

Indiana (rumored to be interested in D'Antoni)
Sixers (rumored to want Ty Lue or Udoka, Jay Wright)
Bulls (think Atkinson would be the perfect fit here)
Pelicans (I've no idea what roster moves they're going to make this offseason- could go in a few different directions)
Nets (focused on Pops, but also interested in Mark Jackson and a few others I can't remember

Which coaches end up where?

Ty lue would fit 76ers really well, I believe chauncey will join him too. Getting chauncey to coach Joel will be a game changer from a mentor standpoint IMO.

With how 2020 is going, I think there is a chance for pop to the nets. The west is brutally tough with the warriors for sure to make the playoffs next year, phoenix, grizzlies and new orleans will grow and even minny with the 1st pick and d lo, the spurs are in for a long rebuild and pop might not like it and might be enoarmed with coaching Irving and Durant and a weaker conference

notice how the knicks tweet didn't mention the players' boycott but the league's decision to postpone. the league didn't decide to postpone, the players didn't show up. they had to postpone.

terry stotts, after losing the next game to the lakers, will be 21-40 in the playoffs - including a few sweeps, a few backdoor sweeps and a few 1-4 losses.

DJ...I'll take this...of course, if you want, I'm sure he'll create a crappy blues song about this.

Yeah the nets do. Kinda like they did BEFORE they got Kyrie, KD, and DeAndre, then traded away all the pieces from the team that represented the culture they built, then fires the coach who helped build that culture.....

New owner and the culture got them KD and Kyrie and some good assets to trade and play with.
the culture was a process. Its Jack Ma’s team. Durant and Kyie wanted to play in NY.

As for Pop, him staying in SAS is not about west conf, its about where he is rooted and has built a home with that team, owner and Buford. If he wants a new challenge, I suppose thats another thing. But I doubt he bolts because the conference is tough.

No way. They destroyed the basketball culture they built when they traded away 75% of those underdogs and scrappy overachiever for two of the biggest divas in the league. And this isn't sour grapes I wanted no part of either Durant or Kyrie. I respect their talent but they are two of the biggest ultra high maintenence divas in the league. As thin skinned as they are I never thought either of them would work in NY. Seeing how it played out in jersey, wasn't a surprise, it was just the inevitable.

Agreed. Thede rigueur Knicks ripping over the past year has centered primarily on the Knicks not signing KD and Kyrie and the KP trade. It will be interesting to see how it plays out with all having serious to big injuries and sucking down cap space. Certainly facilitating a title (or close) would justify. But right now I am truly glad these guys are not on the Knicks roster.

I can tell you right now. The narrative will be the Mavs had to make that trade and took a chance. No credit will be given to the Knicks. Same thing with KD and Kyrie. The Nets had to do it. Forget the fact the Nets traded away the team that KD and Kyrie said they wanted to join (honestly, i can see that KD and Kyrie knew they could basically take over that team).

Only one thing will put a sock in the mouth of the fakers and hot takers -- the Knicks winning. Let's do it.

Who did nets trade away?
The Culture likely could go but so far and the opportunity for those two are risks they took. We all like a good development story but at some point you have to cash in some chips to get to contend. Nets had a good thing but there was a ceiling. They could keep developing and perhaps get a star or two.
I liked what they did and applaud it. They basically grew a team to accept two stars. Not terrible.

That's a fair take of course. Until it plays out it remains to be seen, and even then one can justify the risk as taking your shot. My main point is the Knicks are portrayed as clowns and worse for their decisions (or non-decisions) and not signing two maxed out damaged divas. There is a risk in that as well but to me it was the right decision. Who knows, it could even work out well for all parties. But not according to the mob -- the Knicks were fools and that is that.

RIP Cliff Robinson. One of the games first stretch big and 3&D players. Very underrated career.

Weren't there two Cliff Robinson's around the same time? The other played for the nets at some point I think.

Anyway, too young, too sad. Blessings.

Don't know. Cliff did play for the Nets at tail end.

Terrible news. I remember when Cliff played for Uconn and lead them to the NIT championship in 88.So sorry to hear this!
