This was Melo's best season ever..27 and 8...
Number of points are irrelevant. C'mon!
Its how efficient you are doing it.
He had a very good year, mainly because how good he was from 3. He has gotten more efficient over the last 2 years but he still should be doing better.
Today you called Harden SUPER EFFICIENT...He shoots 45% from 2 and 37% from 3...That isn't efficient because he gets to the line...
That makes absolutely no sense!
I don't care how you score, I just care that you do without jacking up too many shots.
24 points on 15 shots a game is superb.
I disagree ..I think u have to look at how a player scores his points...I don't want my stats all jumbled together...I need to see the breakdown on how a player can be effective for situational basketball...Notice in the playoffs the refs don't willingly call the cheap fouls..It would be good to know that by looking at stats when u head to the playoffs...
Harden was off. No need to blame the refs. If his shot was on, he would have gotten to the line more.
Situational stats are super important. If you know what you can improve on, you can improve your overall TS.
Bro, if you shoot 45% from 2 and 37 from 3 you are not Super Efficent because u master the head jerk in the lane to draw the foul...Won't work in the playoffs..Melo shot 46% overall and 41% from 3 but he isn't efficient...
He is 50% from 2 not 45. That is very efficient for a guard.
And 37% from 3 is very good as well, its the equivalent of something like 56-57%.
He is an 85% FT shooter, and he gets to the line.
You are way off. You can try to pull out the stats that work for you but it does not work or hold up.
so here is what phil is thinking ....
