He got a $3.5 million deal for two years... A buyout is probably not an option for this coming season, but absolutely for the season after. You need to spend a first on him in order for him to get enough money to make a buyout feasible.

They got the guy they wanted maybe Rubio is trying to get traded but my guess is it is some exec screwing with Knick fans. GMs seem like to do that.
