First you need to rip is out of Maxey's hands while mouthing bi-atch, stare at him for longer than is necessary, then hang it

McBride playing all the crunch time minutes in game 4 = Thibs tree of trust and anyone following knows that’s meaningful

The constant pressure on Maxey and he goes with the dude that is playing best. DDV shooting was not there for most of the game.
I thought he'd bring him back in like game 2.

We had taken control at the 5 min mark and it was clear when Embiid missed a foul shot. The game momentum was clearly in our favor and Nurse had not rested his players either.

OG impressive when he recognized he was shooting short then instead started to take it to the rim. Brunson was the hero but OG was solid where Duece and Josh were losing legs. I still thought he'd bring at 3min but Deuce owned Maxy by then.

Was a play when Precious in transition with Josh bring up ball could have pushed the ball to him. He only had Lowrey to deal with. Josh looked him off. 0-7 and a questionable handle. Lowrey swipes at everything and is good at it. Smart play. But telling what they view his role as.

I expect he'll be back on a very modest contract. Precious is doing well here because Thibs has him focused on what he is good at. That might not get him paid as he would like, but he is effective. Question is Prec ready to accept this?

Honestly was saying I'd start Deuce in this series over DiVo to guard Maxey - and him finishing games to me is the equivalent/just as important. Both Deuce and DiVo are good defenders, but DiVo better at gambling the lanes, bodying up smaller 2Gs. Deuce is the guy you want against a guard with handle. He showed it all season long - against Maxey, Fox, Steph and others.

Hopeful we get to the next round, and if its against Indy, Hali is a different sort of player. Less of a relentless driving machine like Maxey, but still a guy you want to Deuce on to prevent him breaking down the D. Make him an inefficient 3 pt shooter and take away the assists/FTs.

McBride is a straight up menace. I mean he's what we hoped Frank would become as a lottery pick.

Deuce on Hali is the key to winning this series.

Put some respect on his name please!

One more and hopefully OG is back vs Celtics. Need OG more than Deuce in the next series. But if needed, Deuce can be a difference maker (Regardless)

Man I just wanted Frank to be a three and D guy. But fans were fanatical about Frank. I think his best comp was a 3 and D guy but fans were like he is going to be all NBA. It was a wild run with Frank back in the day.

If we make the ECF I think the team can go at it as is. Play Diakite and Jeffries for all I care. We would have no pressure on us and heck Boston can choke

If frank was drafted in the second round he might’ve been in a similar role as deuce vs on his way out the league.

That he was with us as long as he was is interesting. Annual coaching changes, Drafted by Phil, Who was fired soon after, then Mills was in charge, then Leon.
He showed enough to stick 4 years. He only played 5 games this year.
No doubt he was all we saw. Great defender, very long, and can shoot. But he physically never developed and he was oft injured. This limited his workouts, strength training and his confidence was shot. Maybe he was also a bit of a Diva and that did not help him?
Still he is only 25! With the amount of French kids coming in the league his status on the French National team might be in jeopardy.
Perfect congruence of bad events. When it was his time to step up he got injured. Bad destiny. Phil had him pegged to QB his triangle? A lot has changed since!!!
Jeannie Buss won the war to control the Lakers, she won a title, Phil got stupid money and has gone away from the public eye, Jeannie is married to comedian/Actor Jay Mohr now.
Yet Frank was still rostered with Hornets last year!!!!
Hope he finds success somewhere.

Deuce physical build sets him apart from Frank. I read when drafted he expected to not play for two years and was cool with developing off the bench. Really He is more like Dennis Smith jr build wise. Dennis built like a linebacker and lost his quickness from college. He has been able to stick because he developed into a good defender. Injury also limited him.
Funny, Malik Monk who for a couple of years was kind of lost proved to be the better of the three! Lets not even talk about the 14th pick that year. Too painful.
