Can we rename the "KP is a Beast" thread to "Woke II"?

Pacers lost sabonis and oladipo is far from 100% and missing Jeremy lamb hurt them, but yes agree that spo is a great coach who is finally getting recognition for this.

being under the spotlight (especially in the playoffs) must be hard when you're struggling with depression and anxiety (most people want to hide away when we feel like that)

Thats why in all reality there is never really a HONEYMOON for a coach regardless of your roster

Larry Bird is weird when it comes to coaches though. When he fired Vogal he was saying something along the lines of its routine to let coaches go no matter their success after 4 yrs just to change it up.

Would have LOVED absolutely LOVED to have landed Nate as our coach. He is never available when we have a coaching search going SMH. Watch him go to the freaking Nets nows.

I would have him in the mix with Thibs and Atkinson. hard to say who ultimately would be best but I'm still good with Thibs.

So coach vacancies in:

Indiana (rumored to be interested in D'Antoni)
Sixers (rumored to want Ty Lue or Udoka, Jay Wright)
Bulls (think Atkinson would be the perfect fit here)
Pelicans (I've no idea what roster moves they're going to make this offseason- could go in a few different directions)
Nets (focused on Pops, but also interested in Mark Jackson and a few others I can't remember

Which coaches end up where?

Sure it was. And don't forget the other pick turned into Dario Saric, the next Landry Fields.

Quick note: Phil would probably have drafted Guerschon Yabusele, the future star of the CBA Monkey Kings. Gotta love those French projects.

Looking like the players are boycotting Bucks vs Magic- wonder if all the games get boycotted next few days. No doubt the same people who complained about protests on the street, kneeling and ‘rioting and looting’ (saying protests should be peaceful), will also be in tears about this.

I respect this. I can't say I know what the players have in mind for an endgame, but this sends a powerful message. I hope the players can sharpen their focus and this leads to something tangible. Yeah, Mohammad Ali's protest against the Vietnam was pushed aside at the time, but look at how history views it now. Doesn't matter if Blake was a serial rapist or convicted of manslaughter. The fact is he was murdered without cause. It's disappointing if the post season doesn't resume, but at the end of the day I recognize it's just a game. And my team sucks anyway.
