Nets maybe making a run at Bynum. Apparently their moves were made to free up a roster space.

George is being mentioned as the possible mvp. I don't think lbj gets it this year. He has looked gassed and without Wade has had a lot of Melo moments. I think Durant gets it but I think George might edge lbj and could get it if Durant falters.

you had me until that comment... I don't agree with that.. have you seen the last few games without wade, dude is shooting way over 50%, dishing out a lot of assists, defending and rebounding.. I am confused when I hear comments like that about durant and now lebron.. first we heard without westbrook durant looks like carmelo.. pure rubbish.. I mean please, lets not go there with lebron.. you were right on the money with your post until the carmelo comment.. LOL...

as far as Paul George, I think he will have a legit shot, if he can keep up the pace and pacers keep winning.. I also think Lance should be an allstar..

Denver's medical staff are idiots! Gallo tore his ACL, they then decided to just repair his meniscus, then they decided he hadn't torn his ACL, and now one year later they've decided 'oops he did year it, we should really repair it!' Now he's out for another year! Morons!

Wow. Gallo tweeted something over the summer that his recovery was going much faster and that the injury wasn't as bad as originally diagnosed.

As a result, Gallinari could miss a healthy chunk of the first part of the 2014-15 season, killer news for a Nuggets team that will pay him over $10.1 million this season and $10.8 million during next year’s rehabilitation-clouded campaign. Gallo will only be 26 years of age heading into his comeback season, but he wasn’t exactly playing at an All-Star level prior to the injury, and it’s quite the impediment to be using 1/6th of a franchise’s salary cap room on a player that will miss an entire season before uneasily getting back into the groove of things at some point during the fall (we hope) of 2014.

The Nuggets are a good enough team to survive somewhat during Gallo’s absence, but when the franchise strangely chose to decide against rebuilding in the wake of general manager Masai Ujiri, coach George Karl and Andre Iguodala leaving the team over the summer, it left the squad prone to the whims of a tough Western Conference in Brian Shaw’s first year as head coach. Shaw has done well to open things up offensively and right the ship after an uneasy start, but the Nuggets remain wildly inconsistent – tossing out both seven and five-game winning streaks alongside an eight-game losing streak on their way to a .500 record after 40 games.

So today, Gallinari had the ACL reconstruction done, something he should have had done six months ago. Nuggets hope he returns next season

DENVER (AP) -- Danilo Gallinari has had a major setback in his return from left knee surgery, requiring a second operation Tuesday that will sideline him for the remainder of the season.

The Nuggets initially had hoped to have their star shooting forward back sometime this season, but ''it was recently determined that the procedure that Danilo underwent on his knee this past summer was insufficient,'' Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly said in a statement.

His left anterior cruciate ligament was reconstructed Tuesday in Denver by team orthopedic surgeon Steve Traina.

''Knowing Danilo's drive and work ethic, we look forward to a full recovery and a healthy return to the court next season,'' Connelly said.

Gallinari, the Italian sharp-shooter who joined the Nuggets in the blockbuster Carmelo Anthony trade a few years back, hasn't played since blowing out his left knee in a game against Dallas last April 4.

His absence played a big role in another first-round playoff exit after a franchise-best 57-win regular season and the subsequent departure of long-time coach George Karl, who was replaced by Brian Shaw.

A roster shake-up also ensued and the Nuggets are 20-20, in 10th place in the Western Conference. They'll have to come on strong over the second half of the season to keep intact their string of 10 straight playoff appearances, and now they'll have to do it without Gallinari.

If I recall correctly, some coach or trainer in euro league said that gallup always stayed injured or something, I guess this is who he is.

2008-09 (New York): Lingering back pain limited rookie season to 28 games (two starts), averaging 6.1 points with .448 FG shooting over 14.7 minutes . . . Also shot 32-72 (.444) 3FG and 26-27 (.963) FT . . . Recorded six double-figure scoring games . . . Made at least one three-pointer in 21 of his 28 games . . . Scored a season-high 17 points vs. Atlanta on 3/4 . . . DNP-CD nine times . . . Missed 45 games due to back pain, including each of the last 16 games . . . Underwent successful back surgery on 4/7.

He came to us as damage goods but Danphoney was friends with his daddy. LOL

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

It's crazy how things changed when they went away from two bigs. KG is a center at this stage, Paul is a 4 offensively and nothing on D, and Johnson has grown into a 4. Lopez being out slid people to their more natural position(imo).
