Crush has a thing for Denver as their success dilutes "Coming Home".

TKF bath's in wonderful feelings of euphoria at Denvers success as it validates his MeloPhobic stance.

Objectively Denver is not close to being a finished product and willing to take steps back to improve longer term. Iggy from what I read wanted to play in Golden State as he has ambitions beyond basketball, are further along in their roster, and might have been paid more than what Denver was paying.

Knuggs have a rookie coach, a nice team that is in the playoff mix and as it stands our ping pong balls with some cap flex ongoing with picks, utes, and tradable parts.

If you bank your future on Koufos your limiting your ceiling. McGee is a disappointment thus far but the ceiling is still higher. Mozgov was a free agent and Karl had no patience to develop him, or MCgee for that matter. Karl got his COY and thought that would give him leverage for new deal.

Denvers success doesn't validate my so called melophobic stance... the knicks implosion does... haha

exactly... Denver is looking more long term. Mcgee although goofy at times still has a much higher ceiling thatn koufos... And Denver is actually looking to build a legit contender... and they have a plan in place.. something we just don't seem to get here in NY.

What a terrible bunch of games on Christmas Day!:

Rose free Bulls vs Lopez free crap Nets team
Thunder vs Knicks (crap team anyway but possibly without Melo)
Heat vs Kobe free Lakers
Rockets (possibly Harden free) vs Spurs
Warriors vs Clippers

Only the the last two might be good! Funny how things go wrong for teams so quickly- when the season started, these all seemed like they'd be good games!

Pretty sure Harden is out for Christmas.

If we can't get NYC guys on our roster like Taj Gibson and Noah, let's at least get some more Chicago players like Shumpert on our team who plays with some fire.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Jesus the Lakers are playing a tough game so far. Laker fans should apologize to D'Antoni. This team at least plays hard even if they don't always win.

Laker fans actually cheered at the end of the game rather than act like asses. It was a class move cuz the team actually played hard. Lakers didn't play well but they played hard.

NY ball looked bad today. Should have two epic matchups with best of league and instead we got two owners with more money then sense.

Embarrassing day for New York. The Mecca is sad.

The sad thing is I can see this team actually capturing 1st place in the Altlantic and Dolan not allowing the team to be broken up. He'll go all in for this year and make some kind of deal just to make this seem like there's a chance this year. Nothing will have changed.

Dolan is pretty tough to figure out. Signing Isiah to an extension when he was coaching but firing Grunwald after the team won 54 games, the atlantic and made it out of the first round for the first time in a decade and a half doesn't make much sense.

Tough to figure out? are you kidding? You think this dude has a clue?

He called BS on chris Smith, on Bargnani vs Aldridge.

Awesome game. I got to watch this after the family went to sleep!

Two really good teams - I just love how the Warriors are underdogs and never give up.

Yeah I think he is tough to figure out. I don't think you ever know what is coming next. Recently there was a period of success with little apparent meddling and then suddenly the gm gets fired, the guy that was head of msg when the Knicks were the most dysfunctional organization in sports is rehired and Chris Smith is given the 15th roster spot. Did you expect any of that ish to happen in the beginning of September? I didn't think anything that I wrote indicated that I thought Dolan had a clue. I thought discussing his bizarre erratic behavior made it clear that you never know what is coming next. I will try to be more clear next time.

Donnie wanted to hire Mullens as GM as successor but Dolan would not have it. Why? Why have a succession plan? Can't do it because there is no plan. Grunwald gets the gig because he is already in place. team succeeded because a lot of things came together but its not like a grand scheme played out. Grunwald was canned for reasons we don't know but you have "reports" he was not all in on Chris smith, Bargnani trade and not getting a contract extension. What owner fires his GM right before the season starts? He could have bought in MIlls to run the business side as thats what he does anyway.

Whats tough to figure out? They guy is impulsive and acts on emotion. Because of that the team is what it is. Now Mills is actually a pretty smart guy and maybe it was his idea to get dolan to agree to having an independent consultant in.

What you don't get is DOlan has had some very bright coaches and GM's. These are very smart guys and it seems the organization fails time and time again!!!

Why? The owner is not listening to them!!!!!! Read up on Layden. He is very smart man. Isiah was charismatic and had a plan, Donnie had experience in building a culture (organization), Grunwald is also a very bright man whose work outside basketball in toronto was top notch. GrunFELD was building a nice team and should have been allowed to fire JVG. Dolan allowed his GM and coach in conflict and eventually had to can Grunfeld. In time JVG, as much as I liked hiim was not the right coach for what Grunfeld was doing.

Whats tough to figure out? Dolan canned Checketts because he was bigger than Dolan. SInce then this fool has been the de-facto CEO of the team and and his record speaks for itself!!

Agree but I will say he really forces things. I can't remember ever seeing ZBo look as shook up as after he took the charge on harden. It made me wonder if Metta popping him in the face was deliberate and retaliatory.

Wow. Didn't realize it was this bad when I was half watching it.
Zach Randolph knew who to blame for the Grizzlies’ 100-92 road loss to the Rockets on Thursday: the men in stripes.

“It’s obvious, it was the refs tonight,” Randolph said, when asked for the game’s turning point. “Eight against five. The game — in the second half — the man was shooting free throws every time. We’re out there playing hard. They’re dictating the game. It can’t be like that, man. We’re out here playing too.”

You don’t have to dig too far to find the cause of Randolph’s complaints: the Rockets attempted 40 free throws and were whistled for 19 fouls, while the Grizzlies attempted 20 free throws and were whistled for 30 fouls.

“It was horrible refereeing — a horrible game they reffed tonight,” Randolph continued. “Awful. They dictated the game. Plain, point simple. They dictated the game. We’re out here working as hard as them. Come on, man.”

The comments — directed at the work of James Capers, Pat Fraher and Karl Lane — will almost certainly cost Randolph some money once they make their way to the NBA league office, which frowns upon public criticism of the officiating.

“The man” that Randolph was referring to above is surely James Harden, who shot 22-for-25 from the free-throw line. The Rockets’ All-Star guard finished with 27 points, even though he shot just 2-for-9 from the field, and he became the first player in NBA history to score 27 or more points while making only two field-goal attempts. He also tied the Rockets’ franchise record with 22 made free-throws.
