Paul George 3rd yr player is already playing in his ECF didn't take 7yrs to get there and he also played a heckuva series. Actually his first 4gms on Melo pretty much proved to be the difference in the series....The series was over a couple games ago.

They're young and aren't going anywhere for a while....

I get the feeling that some are satisfied as long as melo outscores the other teams star. Truthfully i thought melo was great tongiht but all i care about is winning. I dont care if melo scores 15 or 40 as long as we win. Again i dont blame melo because he did all he could but the pacers were simply better

+1. team game.

Everyone wants to blame Melo but once again the biggest disappointment is Amare. This guys is killing cap space and you know he is a no go in playoffs year in and year out.

Tyson saying "we didnt make the adjustments to make them pay" or something to that effect. For those wondering, I dont think he spoke about his poor play.

Everyone is battle injuries in the playoffs. Wade knee, Melo shoulder, Hill concussion, etc. Chandler has sucked the last 2 playoffs. Spare me.

The season ended tonight. I don't think anyone that posts here is satisfied. I know I am frustrated with where some are placing blame. To me Tyson, JR, and maybe Kidd are guys you call out.

George was amazing. Pacers were competitive in the 2nd round last year. Teams generally evolve as they play together. Hopefully that happens for the Knicks.

no one to really evolve. knicks are what they are.

Those were the quietest 39 points I've ever felt in my life. 2 points in the fourth quarter, and ZERO in crunchtime. DRAW A DAMN FOUL! SOMETHING.

That wasn't quiet at all...

Melo was the only reason they were in the game for the first 3 quarters. He was a beast.

First three quarters. Exactly.

Not for nothing ....If u want to start pointing fingers...I could probably find 14 guys to point to before I get to Melo..I mean really...

Actually the team was down by 12pts when Melo was sitting on the bench and Shumpert went Boston Celtic Game 5 mode and Copeland was being Copeland....then the game was tied....Knicks had momentum....Woodson puts Melo and the game changed....

Haha....So 35 in three qts and keeping the team in striking distance means nothing ???...Until Shump three 3s..Shump, Felton, Chandler was 3/18...So who was keeping the Knicks afloat???

melo. but you have to bring it home. basketball is 4 quarters, not 3.

At least Felton is better than Lin(right?)....as far as Kidd goes...

I knew as soon as we signed him and his trucked got totaled it wasn't going to end well for him....He and Camby were putrid signings, just disgusting....yet GRUNNY got tons of credit for putting this team together this season and many thought he should have won EOY....

I made a thread earlier this year about the McGrady curse. No one remembers Grant Hill eating up max cap space on the bench in Orlando. They just remember Mcgrady not getting out of the first round.

Guys get confidence when he's out the game, and when he comes in the game they shrink back to be passive.

Woodson has ZERO FEEL for games. He kills his own momentum or doesn't see that a player or group is killing us by not performing.

+1. Woodson's game plan is "get it to melo" not "hit the open man!"

That wasn't a smart move by Melo, all series he's been rejecting him at the rim stubbornness isn't smart. He could have pulled up or dished to somebody for a 3.

That play changed the game...but I think Melo did the right thing. Hibbert just made a great play, unlike Chandler. Hibbert is the best C in the East.

That play gave Pacers momentum, they stole it after that play he could of pulled up and got 2 pts.

You may be right. We will never know. I think Melo was hoping for a foul and 1. Game changer either way it went. Went bad for NY.

Serious question - is there anything you like about this team? Everything is either a negative post or a cheap shot. I know you dont like Melo but sometimes it seems like you hate the team as a whole.

Amare has been (stupidly) injured the past two years, and is coming off of injury this year. sucks. we all knew he'd break down.

Come on...Dude has been there all year...All year...People are complaining he is shooting too much..Now he isn't shooting enough after dropping 39 on Paul George????

He caught the ball before it go to the cylinder...are you really trying to debate that block being clean?

I never said he did not hit the bal before it was over the cylinder. The goaltending rules books don't have any exceptions to the cylinder part of the rule. The ball was over the cylinder at the same time hibberts hand was on it. Clear goaltending even though he had his hand on it before it got to the cylinder.

If you make contact with the ball before it gets to the cylinder then the play continues until it's deemed a complete play. It was not anything close to goaltending and I can't believe you're posting this...

Tyson needs to stfu. Guy was dominated and might be the biggest reason Knicks lost. Kmart going against a guy 6 inches taller and 75lbs heavier was much more effective.
