As for Bonn read what I said. I can see why you took "There is some sentiment on this board by some that if you point out..."
I wasn't referring to that comment. I was referring to the one where you said people were saying "Isiah will succeed just because"; sorry I thought quoting the statement I was referring to would make it clear which statement I was referring to. Maybe I would have realized that this wasn't the case if I weren't such a snitty gay robot!

I will support Isiah once he proves something. Like have a good draft and order that the young players play or just win games. Until then, I M Neutral

That's probably the safest approach.

I think the biggest thing that Isaiah did was drafting Ariza. Getting a first round talent in the mid second round is big. He's going to be a very solid starter in a couple of years.

agreed. that and getting rid of some of the waste and signing Jackie but other than that the hasn't done diddley-Poo.. yet!

Supporter. Except the Malik Rose trade, I'm ok with all his moves.

It's funny you think of it as the Malik ROse trade. I think of it as the 2 #1's for Nazr trade and we had to take ROse to balance the numbers.
Yes, but I don't really trust in the 30's# picks.

Ariza was the 43rd pick!

I trust picks in the 30s with Isiah drafting!

I support him but I don't believe he has an actual plan. The Knicks have become more exciting, and a little bit better, but still need many pieces to fill.

I support Zeke so far.

I ask, who else would you prefer?
Is the LOGO available? He may be soon.
Give Phil the GM job? Riley?

I'd rather stick with Isiah,
i don't see any real bad moves so far.

His worst moves you could call a WASH.

Layden's worst moves set this franchise back.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I am a supporter bordering on neutral. I think he has upgraded the talent level - I just think they havent lived up to their potential. I also think the coaching decisions have been bad.

The Marbury trade was supposedly on the table under Layden so he shouldnt get too much credit for it - although he did pull the trigger on it so he gets points for that.

Lets see him grab a big man and get this party started then I will give him two big thumbs up.

I like or am neutral on all of his moves. I actually liked Mo Taylor, I thought he was a talented player watching him play in Houston so I liked the idea of getting him.

I think the Nazzy trade was decent and if one of those picks becomes a key part of our team, it was a good pick. Nazzy was nothing special to lose and rose contract isn't horrible.

I loved the Steph trade, we gave up a bunch of garbage and turned it into one of the best pg's in the league.

I wasn't crazy about the Crawford trade at first because I wanted him to get us a big, but I think Crawford is gonna be a really good player next season. I was impressed with his ability even this year, so I can see him being a star player for our team in the future. His contract will begin to be less than his actual value, starting next season.

I am a Isiah supporter, although I'm very late on this thread. I think he has done well considering. And like caseloads said:
isiah did not make allan houston's contract, nor did he make houston's crappy knees. isiah did not force TT to play like complete crap the entire year.

Thats the really important thing to remember. If these guys are playing, our team is among the best in the east. We'll see what happens in the next couple of months.

I think he's given up a little too much in trades and I think his deadline moves were very questionable. He hasn't taken the rebuilding route and he's been contradictory in the moves he's made. I'm willing to give him another year, but he's been a bit of a dissapointment in my book.

He dresses better than Laydog.

And when the man needs some, its "off to europe".

Him and jimmy get licked up, jump in the jet and run off to paris for some euro *****.

If these guys start scouting the asia and come home with child brides its not gonna be prettty!

I do hope Isiah can turn it around, but I think he's been a disaster so far. The Knicks remind me of a dirty bathroom you find in gas stations. Layden really made a mess of it and Isiah's just come in and made it worse. It really was a mess, so in a way I can't blame Isiah for not cleaning it up, but it hasn't worked. We need to use these picks to bring in some good youth and we most importantly need a big man who's sole purpose is to stand under the basket, block shots, and rebound. Then I think we have the players necessary to be a good playoff team. Until then, it looks bleak. He's added much more $$$$ while decreasing the win total and couldn't have brought in a worse coach than Lenny. Nevertheless, I'll keep supporting the Knicks no matter what.

y'all are going to have to send me text messages as it happens since i have a 530 softball game, and then have to rush to central park for the roots and de la soul in concert.

I got my tix already... That's gonna be the hot show, but how come you didn't mention MF Doom?!?! He's ILL!!!!

Anyway, I realize I haven't said it yet, but I'm a supporter. I firmly believe that a GM needs 4 years to get something going. I'm not going to micro-analyze every single move because, ultimately, I'm hoping it'll all fit in the big picture.

For a while, I thought I was the only one here who agreed with the majority of Isiah's decisions. I posted this thread because after reading a few recent threads, I saw people mention that they too were supporters of the majority of Isiah's decisions. I noticed that they don't seem to post here that often and I wanted to see if there were others who were on the supporter side of the fence. It looks to me like there aren't more people in the BAD job category than in the support for majority of decisions category. It's just that those in the bad job category post a lot more often than those in the support category (other than me).

Yes, but I don't really trust in the 30's# picks.
One pick is #30. The other could be anywhere from 20 to 30 depending on Duncan's health next year. Just having a 1st rd pick is an advantage because you can move up. If the pick turns out to be #24, you might be able to move up to 16 by adding $3 mil cash considerations.
