You don't have to give GS any credit. I don't care if you do or not but i also know that when it is obvious that a team is headed in the right direction then you give credit where credit is due. If you don't then you are a hater. It's as simple as that. F the history cause you don't know what Baron will be doing next year and neither do i but does it matter when i am talking about the here and now

I'm beginning to see that you are the typical internet guy. You call me a GS fan but when you speak on the Hornets ...does that make you a Hornet fan. No it doesn't but you result to your "internet guy" personality. i understand

i'm thru explaining your ignorance to you. I will find an array of posts you have posted and pluck holes in your "posts"

watch me

oh really? is it that obvious, I just pointed out to you that they did the same thing last year? I see they headed in the right alright, right into last place..

watch me

OK, I will watch, and while you are at it, find those post where you said I was hyping up TT so much.... I am still watiting...

BTW.. feel free to quit anytime you want and save yoursefl the embarrasment..

Give me Marbury over Davis any day of the week. Both are going to have their great games, and their not so great games. From what I've seen from Baron, he just doesn't hog the ball and take his man 1 on 1, he'll try to play 5 on 1, shoot the double teamed, fade away three (maybe a little exageration there, but still). Marbury is FINALLY starting to round that corner. I think he's understanding he can't win it alone.
I am a New Yorker, I wouldn't have the patience to sit there and wait while Baron learns that.

you are not the only one. New Orleans didn't have the patience any more either, that is why they basically shipped him away for nothing, I mean no disrespect to claxton, but talent wise, this was not in NO's favor, but they wanted to get rid of the little fat dough boy that bad.... And guess what, Dan Dickau has looked good in NO and they started winning some games, I mean at some time you have to cut your losses with guys like that and move on, now they will have a high lottery pick, plenty of room under the cap and a few nice pieces in magloire, Dickau and JR Smith, along with chris Andersen if they resign him..

It would be great if isiah tried to bring him here.We could use his defense and his intensity,he would be a garden favorite.Him and JYD coming off the bench would be great.

I like Andersen, besides his athleticsim and endless motor, he is a decent weak side shot blocker also....

Great point.Check out these averages from last week:

77.8 FG%, 6.5 Blk, 2.0 TO

Not saying he can do that over a whole season but it just shows what kind of player we would be getting.
kwaz: what I like about Anderson moreso than JYD(and Jyd is a good hustle player) is that Anderson is taller, his height is the advantage, and he is just flat out a better leaper, he gets to a lot of shots and he runs the floor well, those are impressive numbers, 6.5 blocks are just what we need.... even during short stretches, that is the difference of winning and losing close games on plenty of occasions....

I am a boxing advocate. Of course I knew that Koo Kim died in the ring against Mancini. Stop thinking you know everything sometimes and comprehend what is being written

actually it was me who corrected you on that one...you're making alot of comments about people being ignorant, but to poke fun at someone using the example of a professional athlete who gave his entire heart & soul into a boxing match that he ended up giving his life for it as well is just classless, stupid, & well, ignorant...that was my only point.

[Edited by - TMS on 04/11/2005 12:11:53]

actually you didn't correct me. Can you read?

But i like the way you gave a heartfelt post about Koo kim. That's why i never said Mancini and Koo Kim.

look, don't get me involved in your little snit battle...you made an ignorant comparison about Doo Koo Kim fighting Muhammed Ali...it's fine if you want to dismiss my "heartfelt post", but that only serves to prove my point even further.

i'm done w/this retarded conversation...I think my IQ level dropped a couple points reading some of the posts in here.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

big pimpin: you criticize those high schoolers but you write as if you are uneducated yourself
tkf: yeah i could stand to correct my grammar some instead too
bigpimpin: fair enuff
tkf: you giving credit to GS. you must be a Warrior fan
bigpimpin: You give credit to players. i'm a fan if you are a fan when you give credit
tkf: i see your point
bigpimpin: McRoberts has a nice game and I could care less how he talked. He may even turn out to be a bust but at the moment the kid has game
tkf: yeah and GS may turn out to be a bust because Baron gets injured alot
bigpimpin: yeah i see your point

see how easy that is

get you involved? dude you replied to my post! If i say Tyson fighting Cooney it doesn't mean they actually fought. It means you could see that Cooney wouldn't stand a chance just as Kim wouldn't stand a chance against ALi

you are sensitive. instead of thinking you are correcting me understand what is being written first. now you come back and say don't get you involved while you even went out the way to make sure i knew you were the one who "corrected" me.

you came looking for attention okay you got it

I agree 100%.I like the idea of bringing them off the bench at the same time to spell the starters. We wouldnt have to worry about the +/- of our bench as much as we do now.

They wouldnt be a high scoring tandem, but they wouldnt need to be as long as they make the stops and these guys can.

Kwaz: earl watson is another guy I want to target to play bacup PG, he can defend and push the ball and he will give you an advantage off the bench, over other teams second string players, watson has starter type talent. If the knicks can upgrade their bench with guys like Anderson and watson, we would be headed in the right direction, better yet, it would give us some advantages that we have not had in a while off the bench.

Havent seen Watson play enough to give you an informed opinion but Ill take your word for it.Ill try to catch the next Grizz game on TV.

You are right,it would be nice to have an advantage over some of the better benches in the league for a change.

Players like Andersen and Watson wouldnt be as hard to aquire as Marbury or Crawford obviously,it depends on Isiah having the will to make it happen.I hope he does.

i like Watson but would rather spend the MLE dollars on a Dan Gadzuric instead...our needs at the C position need drastic attention over the summer...the backup PG doesn't see much action anyway on a team w/Marbury who's the most durable PG in the game.

good point about the Pg situation, but I think we can get a big in the draft probably better than Gadzuric, I watch that guy sometimes and he looks like a absoulte scrub and then other times he decent.. Now if you just watch him vs the knicks, he looks like Bill russel...LOL.. anyway I am not so sold on gad, I would rather make a run at Kwame brown instead.. gad is a good hustle center, but I think we need some actual skill and size at that position...

they all suck...the only hungry players are those out of college looking to for a job.

I'm a bit perplexed by the big thingy...I really don't have a solution...but somehow being away from the states reminds me that anyone can win and next year it will be the knicks.

49 wins next year beyotches!!
all kool aid all the time.

if u can get Kwame for the MLE then go for it i agree...i just think Gadzuric is easily attainable for a portion of the MLE, & he's the type of player who you never question his effort, so it wouldn't be a bad use of the MLE...of course, if you can get higher upside potential kids like Kwame, Dalembert, Curry, Stromile, etc. then by all means...whatever the case, let's use that MLE to fill that C position...even if we draft a rookie C w/the lottery pick, it's still a good idea to go big w/the MLE as well...you can never have too many...we can always look to trade KT or Mike "Tractor Traylor" Sweetney if we need to clear up roster space.

Don't know if it has already been asked but I'd still like to read the answers:

Who would you rather have on your team? S. Marbury or B. Davis?
