You don't have to get draft picks in return--just good young players. A GM can't run the team by such a rigid rule that he must acquire a draft pick in exchange for a draft pick. There are many young players that *any* GM in *any* situation (be it a 10 or a 70 win team or anything in between) would give up a draft pick for without getting one in return.

i don't want to trade the picks this year. i want to keep them and use them. that's why, TO ME, i don't want to trade any of the picks UNLESS we get picks back in return. this draft looks too deep to be trading a pick for a young player another team doesn't want. i don't want to package them, i don't want to do anything else but USE them. i'm willing to trade 2006 spurs pick + $$$ for another #1 this season (even if it's from 20-30). i would LOVE to get 4 players out of this draft.

Mo Taylor is only 28.. he's young and he's as good as anyone in this draft.

But Vin Baker and Moochie Norris are young and even better than anyone in this draft
