if Kurt Thomas gets a shot here with under 50seconds left I guarantee that a man will be right in his face and he'll shoot it anyway and bricj it and we will lose! keep the ball out of Kurt's hands!

I was happy to watch them compete tonight...I would have been happier if we were to win the game, but I like the effort...Even if we don't make the playoffs, I will continue to back this team...Once we get a couple more players to help as shooters and shot blockers, we will be fine...

I do believe that Sweet should have been on the court instead of Kurt in the regulation, because his wide body creates more room and most of all, he is a much better rebounder than Kurt...

Only caught the first half but I did see a few things that I liked.

First of all their body language was alot different from the Wilkens Knicks. They looked alot more confident, even when playing one of the best teams in the league.

When Crawford forced a 3 early in the game,Herb sat him down immediately and for a while.Even in his hometown,Herb showed him who is boss.I also like his use of a TO before the end of the half.We saw Lenny miss these little things alot.

Their D has stepped up,and they dont look like they are just going through the motions anymore.

Marbury needs to drive and kick it out to the shooters or find his big men more. Its either a jumper or a drive for Marbs it seems. Most of the passes I saw he gave up the ball because he wanted to get bailed out,not because he was setting up his teamates.

Changing that approach might help him lose his rep about not making his teamates better.

Overall I have to say that Herb is pointing his team in the right direction.Id like to see how he does the rest of the season.I know I wanted an elite coach but if Herb can improve on what he has accomplished so far then he should be given serious consideration for the job.

Kwazimodal - extremely perceptive

Marbury could easily average double figures in assists but his confusion is quite possibly the result of the changeover in coaches, along with whatever advice he's getting from Isiah.

I would prefer he dramatically reduce the three point shot and look to set up the talented Tim Thomas. and Mike Sweetney more often. His on-court non-verbal communication with Crawford is virtually non-existant.

It's one thing to locate a spot up shooter.

Quite another to deliver the ball iin a flow.

Marbury needs to work on his passing rhythm and court demeanor.

well said. I agree 100% Marbury really lacks the creativity needed to get the most out of his teammates. He has a scoring mentality. Just handing the ball off to guys or running the same pick n roll play is not being a PG. Matter of fact they ru the pick n roll because its the only way he can find the open guy since he doesn't have great PG vision.

Tim Thomas - 46 minutes / 5-19 fg / 1-8 3p / 19 p / 4 r / 0 a / 2 st.

here you go guys, i have to give him props for how "well he's been playing of late"...don't want to be a TT hater for no reason, now do i?

that 1 3 pointer he made all night tied the game in regulation...too bad all the rest of those he took were bricks & put the Knicks in the situation of having to tie the game in the first place...oh, but i fail to mention that "stellar defense" he's been playing too...i mean, the guy he was guarding only scored 30 points on him...good thing he was D-ing him up or else Rashard might have dropped 60 on us last night.
