He also never had a player of Webber's calibre to play alongside of. A lot of superstars don't trust there role players. But Iverson knows how good Webber can be unless his injury brings him down.
Hughes and Stackhouse are good scorers (comparable scorers to Webber actually). Iverson should have trusted them. Maybe he'll learn from it and actually give the ball to Webber.

cwebb is with pilly to complete ivo's quest. cwebb could have all the touches he needs in a 82 game season. come playoff time, cwebb will feed ivo with touches beyond ivo's imagination. we all know cwebb gets all choked up during playoffs and loves to dish the rock, this time he has ivo that will instead of bibby. and right now webber and iverson are mature enough to define winning at the next level without bumping egos... years ago you could not do that with stack or hughes. pound for pound ivo is one of the best guards that has ever played this game.......make no mistake about it

First off Stackhouse still put up his #s in Philly with Iverson. He only played 22 games the following yr. Larry Hughes was injury prone and played his first 2 seasons there. Playing 100games in those 2 seasons. He was no way the calibre player Webber is.

Webber is averaging 18attempts his first 3 games in philly

Also, Iverson was just a rookie when he was playing with Stackhouse. Plus, Hughues probably wasn't very trustworthy when he played with Iverson. Very talented at the time, but not a smart player at all.

I see Hughes as exactly the kind of player Crawford could become.. he's not far off now, just needs some better insticts and more discipline. I watched Hughes a ton early in his career w/ Phili and GS. He's really found his grove.
