Defensively we look pretty good tonight. I hope that we can maintain that for the rest of the season....We have crashed the board really hard also..

pretty good?! we haven't looked this good on defense in a while! I'm telling you Nazr was the biggest reason for all those losses. Trading him was addition by subtraction

We're still a lotto team, but I loved the effort and ball movement tonight. If we only could have started the season with it, those 45+ win scenarios may have come true.
Fun game either way. It's good to be on this side of it for once.

We are back. Philly lost tonight, so we are not too far behind now. I still believe that we will make the playoffs...

Hey, if we can somehow manage to steal the division (still feel doubtful about it), I wouldn't complain. But the absolute LAST thing we want, is to make a run, miss the playoffs, and wind up with a pick around 11-14.

Rose is better than I thought. He gets his hands on the ball alot! That will be infectious. Rose JYD and KT upfron would be a decent defensive front line.

I Like JC at the 1. He is more apt to drive it now. In addition Marury does not seem to change his game when he plays the 2. This was Herb's idea and it is a good one.

Herb has this team playing hard. They like Herv. i like the way Herb is teaching the players. When Sweets got his 2nd foul, Herb told him what he did wrong. With his career that is a great amount of knowledge transfer going on.

I predict that NY will win 38 games this year. herb will be the coach next year.

thats exactly where we are headed unless we get extremely lucky in the lottery.

but listen we can trade Kurt Thomas for a mid 1st rounder. Then send all 3 1st round picks to a team looking to add more than just one good rookie like New Orleans who already has Magliore and might not be convinced with Bogut. Or we can still get Fran Vazquez who Isiah really liked

Also. Is it me of does Jamal look like Isiah in his younger days. When JC plays under control he is a nice player.

I don't see why we need to tank. Regardless of how we endup, we will still end up with a pretty goo big man.. Look out, Isiah might get us a couple of big men. Personally, I do believe that we need another PG next season....

excellent win. it's encouraging that we held stephen jackson to like 6 points and 28 minutes given that he just lighted up the cavs the night before.
our pick wouldn't suffer much even if we won the division given that it wouldn't take too many wins to do so, and many teams that wouldn't even MAKE the playoffs or are a lower seed would still have more wins than us.

If you make the playoffs you are not in the lottery, which means the best you can do is 14th.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Lets do it baby!!!! and we can still trade our assets and our picks to move up in the draft! Now i have no problem rooting for wins again since i can see this team is coming together. The fact that Nazr Mohammed is not there to remind me that we stink and can't play any defense also really helps!

I'll take my chances if we just miss the playoffs but still wind up in the lottery as long as I see good things from this team again.
