Good point but Marshall's contract ends this year and Rose's in 2. We are not putting ourselves in a Layden like 6 year hole.

Raven i couldn't agree with you more, not only overated but also a myth because kurt thomas don't do **** but shoot like his the freaking shooting guard and at the defensive end, the guy just stand there and let opponent shoot. you know what isiah should do the gosh dawm trade in a heart beat.

I doubt this trade is going to happen. The fact that the media has a hold of this trade makes me not believe it is going to happen.

The media's irrelevant. They were all over the Crawford trade too, but that still happened.

Rose is far, far better than Penny. We can get far more for his expiring contract in 2 years than for Penny's in 1 year if you're really concerned about that. The Knicks have to do well enough this year for Dolan to be even willing to let Isiah continue spending money this offseason anyway. If the Knicks miss the playoffs (and lose out on a lot of revenue after spending a lot to bring Marbury and Crawford here), he probably won't even let Isiah use Penny's expiring contract and the other expiring contracts to get good players plus bad contracts (like the Marbury trade) anyway.

Marburry has no choice but to make a move, but I don't know if he will be able to get anything done. GMs around the league are not too fun of Isiah. They don't want to help him out, why would they??? They are only willing to give him more bad contracts than anything else.. Frankly, at this point, a trade for Rose and Walker would be an ideal thing to do just to change things around... After all, Walker's contract will expire by end of season, and we would have a serviceable player in Rose that can play 3 positions....

Walker or Marshall

Coochie.....

That is if and only if Timmy, Penny, and Kurt are traded which is very possible at this point.....
