Yeah..he should have just quit....don't know why Lenny kept the starters in there if he didn't want them to attempt to win at the end by fouling.

I know it's said how much Lenny needs to go back into retirement

What else was he supposed to do??? Lenny is a worthless coach who doesn't have a clue about ingame strategies, and as a result we continue to lose games. It is awefully hard to work as hard as Marburry has all season long for Lenny to continue to treat him like that. First of all, his reluctance to try new things with the frontcourt is just not acceptable. He needs to be fired, and I don't know what Isiah is waiting on to make the necessar move. I know that he will due a lot of money if he is fired, but how many more games must we lose for Isiah to realize Lenny's incompetencies???? Kurt would have never been in my starting lineup. He is a bench player, and that is it. I don't give a damn how many points he puts up tonight, he still crap to me.

I BET YOU DON FREAKIN CHANEY IS SITTING AT HOME SIPPING HIS GIN AND JUICE LAUGHING AT ZEKE.

Fire me huh, I played the game before too and that ain't no way to treat a great coach like myself. I was once coach of the year.

Today Kurt thomas 23 points, 11 rebounds.
last night nazr 22 points, 11 rebounds.

A) what exactly would we be getting more from this 'elite' big
B) which of these two do we give up to get this 'elite' big

I'm sick of all these 'we need a big' crap....oh, wait, I just bought some magic 'big' beans from my neighbor and he says that if i plant them the knicks will end up with a magic elite big without having to give up anything.

We need better referees and someone to explain defense to the knicks. I don't think that lenny is explaining it well enough. Saying it is one thing, but some coaches (chuck daly, Riley, larry brown, the czar, van gundy [both]) have this incredible ability to instill the love of defense in their players.

Houston gave it his all, but seeing Ariza out there convinces me that unless houston is scoring 20 points, he's pretty shandon anderson.

Crawdaddy...where have you gone. We need you back to restore some hope.

Marbs...thanks for giving it all you got.

Zeke did what he could. There was noone else available when he did what he did. We need Cwebb for sure, but first we have to get rid of Kurt Thomas, Tim Thomas, Houston, Vinny, etc. Can we get Webb? that is a very long shot. But we can get JIMMY JACKSON, AND AGWIRRE TO REPLACE SENILE LENNY

psst..arent u da vince carter groupie?
last i remember carter is a guard too

we have alot of glaring holes on the squad...backup pg is a problem..tim thomas is playin ok as of late, but nothing to rave over, kurt is playin like da way we expect him too each night, and nazy is havin a good year....but we wont go anywhere without defense and we need guys on da team dat can shoot and defend

we're still far away, some nights this team reminds me of the hornets, other nights they remind me of spurs...when we play defense we win, when we mess up and play only in da begiining or da end we lose....plan as dat, everyone was predicting a 42-45 win season, some were predictiong 50, but realistically speaking, the way we're playingm,we'll be lucky to win 40 games and dats being true

It doesn't take a genius to see that we need more help in the frontcourt. However, we have to remember that this is a process. We we're not built to win it all this season. With that said, we have a nice asset in Nazr Mohammed who is actually getting All-Star consideration, and we will have some good expiring contracts to work with in Tim, Penny, Moochie, Baker, and of course Nazr. We will be in a great position to land a good big man.

and i said we need a very good/elite big man cause look at tonights game, shaq changed da whole gameplan against the heat, we need a big man that'll cause rawkus in da paint, but most importantly, our defense has to improve, we play good defense 1 quarter...next quarter we flop, come back out in halftime fired up but 4th quarter we stop, the thing is our players get tired form catchin up all game

We had 5 million to get a big this past summer (thanks layden) and we are 10 times more exciting than we were last year.

I don't know what else to say.

I guess i'm just going to only come to this board after wins.

I'm telling you guys, our best bet is magic 'big' beans. Did you see some of those crappy calls? Did you see two of marbs shots go basically IN and OUT? Did you watch Vin Baker start to come into his own after not playing since the summer. Did you notice that sweetney, Penny AND effing Craw-daddy not playing!?!?!?

Did you see us still play tough?!?!?

I mean, come on guys...there has to be something positive somebody can say about this game? The heat have the best record in the east. They just won effing 14 straight. This is the second game of a back to back for pete's sake.

Jeez.

you guys are still missing the real reason why the Knicks are mediocre. Lenny, LENNY, LENNY, LENNY. He is good at coaching Xs & Os, but terrible once the game starts. we have talents, but it will take a coach who knows how to use them to get the best out of them all. He often has the wrong players in the court. His starting lineup is atrocious. He needs a defender on the court to complement the guards (Marburry and Houston or Crawf), eventhough we have the caliber players to provide the defensive energy that we need, he continues to go with TT and Kurt Thomas. I would much rather use JYD at the three or Ariza for defense. When our bigs have it going, he minimize their touches. Lenny is just horrible once the game starts.

Right now, the only big man we could get that could cause 'rawkus' in the paint is tim duncan...last I saw he wasn't available. Didn't the pistons just beat the shaq and kobe lakers with nothing resembling an athletic big? Don't get me wrong, I jock sheed...so maybe he was that big...but he wouldn't come here (he could've, trust me).

Nobody can stop shaq, but we could have stopped shandon, Jones (the three point shooting jones) and we could have doubled shaq later (not as soon as he got it)

We need defense. We needed fratello.

We need a full effing year to play together!!!!

"Did you notice that sweetney, Penny AND effing Craw-daddy not playing!?!?!?"

Which is why Allan should have gotten more touches (and more minutes in the 4th). Even with injuries, guys need to step up and help out. We can't just ride Stephon's back every time.

I really have to do something about this anger problem. I spent most of the night pounding on my pillow, slamming a little Nerf ball against my walls, and just got inside from shooting baskets in 20 degree weather (shorts I might add), to relax a little.
Now that I've calmed down , I guess I can't be too upset about this loss, except some of those bull crap calls (oh, believe me, I was ready to send the refs a batch of cookies laced with ammonia), but I guess Shaq's teams will always get them in their favor. In short, the Heat have just played better than us all season, and tonight wasn't an exception.

You are kidding me right? After the kings loss, you said that Houston should have stayed on the bench and ariza should have still been out there...today houston should have been out there and ariza should have been on the bench. did you notice Tim Thomas hit a big 3 in the 4th...did you notice Houston's inability to get open...he's no reggie miller.

Houston is a liability if we need stops...crawford plays better defense (believe it or not), but tonight we were shorthanded against the best team in the east and played our hearts out.

I'm still a knick fan and I'm on the phone with the garden now ordering next seasons season ticket package!!!!

GO KNICKS!!!
