It took all of training camp, preseason, regular season and 2 games into the playoffs for Brown and the Knicks to figure out KAT/JB. It's weird to me to not understand why it would also take a shortened roster and a trade the first days of the training camp for that path forward would not happen quickly?

you're right to an extent, good points. And wow 54-30 against that team on their own floor is a helluva run.

The Knicks have been so locked in, bucking the trend of standard ebb and flow playoff series and winning those games the other teams almost always win (i.e. games 2 and 3 against Philly and CLE), I fully expect them to come out and play like the desperate team and win this game.

Mentality of the team has been what champs are made of. So many times this 12 game run they could have taken their foot off the gas. When they were up 3-0 in a series going into game 4. Or down 22 or 14pts in game one with the ability to use the layoff as an excuse.

Do certain refs actually favor one team vs another we just feel like they not for knicks given thats mostly what we watch?

Im of the mindset that a 12 game win streak thru the playoffs are proving knicks are just too good for any ref to interfere, or perhaps our team is getting conspiratorial love in their direction.
What is the logic for league to not at the very least be neutral for Knicks?

I don't think we just figured it out. We definitely had prolonged periods of beautiful basketball followed by wtf.

for sure, we definitely found a new gear and I hope that gear shows up tonight!!!

Mouth watering while I respond here BUT I agree -- this isn't about stealing a game now it's about will we come out with enough force/execution to just beat them. Anyone looking at us as an underdog is a bit delusional at this point.

If Wemby somehow walks into a few 40/20 games ok but think onus is on Spurs now to steal from us - at least game 2.

Yes - this is only a 1 day rest game for Wemby -- he may be great tonight but it will be interesting to see how he moves and holds up.

Game 3 has 2 full rest days in between so think we need to get this one tonight.
