Kolek, Deuce, Brunson, Jose, even Clarkson are all on the short end of the size chart by NBA standards.
I've pointed out many times Deuce cannot guard anyone 6'5" and higher. As our best defender in that group that is an issue.
The league has lots of bigger guards or swing men who dwarf our backcourt. Shamet is our tweener that gives the backcourt some size and strength on defense.
One of Brown's biggest whiffs of the season was not integrating Kevin McCullar into the rotation. What a dumb oversight. Dude is a very solid two-way player and a lock-down defender at 6'6" and a better ball handler and passer than Deuce or Jose.
McCullar and Kolek should be in the rotation now.
