Our "culture" is suffering from a bad mix of talents that cannot pull together on defense.

We played better defense earlier this season, but the collective effort has evaporated. Anytime we play good D it is only for a short stretch, a quarter at best, but it is not sustained at all.

We are now reduced to winning by outscoring teams. No team ever contends like that.

Not a bad mix of talent. The issue is Towns. His blunders are as bone-headed as they come and kill morale.

Case and point that pedigree does not necessarily translate to wins. It's why I'm strongly on team "Trade KAT". Depending on the return, it'd be addition by subtraction.

If the result is we close up the lanes and prevent easy threes by trading Towns for other guys who bring the defense I agree because we have the offensive talent without KAT.

His Omigod crap is tired for many of us and it must be getting old in the locker room.

Kat looks like a soft G-League center getting his 1st NBA action - didn't look at his stats but remarkable how often this guy gets stripped, blocked, falls, turns ball over, hits guys in the face, in the nuts -- just on and on.

Making me want Jules back - GULP.

Basically felt like I was watching D'Antoni team with Harrington, T Thomas, maybe some Felton but that's a disservice to those players.

Kidding on Jules comment - don't want to wake/rile up Todd.

I guess we have to pray for a quick recovery of Jalen Brunson only to save a little bit of dignity?

This team is back to the full-on mess they always find a way to be. Disappointing doesn’t give it credit. This team was supposed to be a battle tested veteran team that was on the rise, but everyone seems to be a head case. Yes, KAT is terrible, but if he can create such a mess all by himself, making our other pillars on the team fall like they also are, then this team was nothing but fool’s gold.

I keep going back to the start of this mess and Coach Brown asking the Knicks who they were. The answer sucks, but unfortunately it’s not new. They are a mediocre bunch who believes they are contenders but are too cool to actually show it. I hate that. That’s not the Knicks brand I love to follow.

This team is an embarrassment.
