Detroit took this game more seriously. Nothing is working right now. The defense is broken and KAT looks lost and disinterested. Brunson is trying to do it all by himself too. Overall the team just looks tired and bored. Maybe winning the Cup was enough satisfaction for some of them?

Leon might need to start making some trades if this **** continues. We got some wiggle room with the record and I know losing streaks happen but this effort overall is unacceptable. We aren't losing games either. We are getting blown out! We look like **** ever since the Champagnie game.

KAT won the Cup and got engaged and stopped giving a ****. Sometimes it really looks like he doesn't like basketball and doesn't want to be here.

This team was never gonna beat teams with defense. But early in the year, our defense was good enough for our offense to just overpower teams. Our offense is complete trash right now. Seems everyone is slumping at the same time, not sure where the chicken or the egg is in terms of style and results. But something has gotta give eventually.

This is the dog days of the season, teams will slump and eventually get out of it. By this time last year, Indiana was probably barely .500 and they made it to game 7 of the finals. So lots of things are still undetermined.

But we are looking again like the team that needs extra ball handler, needs more shooting, and just relies on Brunson for everything. IMO, we never *felt* like a great shooting team even when things were humming. Mikal and OG are just not pure shooters. We could really use a flamethrower like Dante in the starting lineup IMO.

Also, the Mitch/KAT lineup just seems awful now, we need to put that lineup to rest. Brown needs to settle on a rotation, I don't think the constant flipping around is good for this team. We only started winning once he stopped doing that in the early days of the season.

This is the first time I fully feel like a coach has zero responsibility. With Thibs, I was sometimes frustrated and thought he could do something differently. Earlier it was the same with Coach Brown. But this loss and the poor play since the calendar turned to 2026 just reminds me of something I really hate about this modern iteration of the team: from time to time, they are a bunch of slackers that believe they can turn it off and on whenever they want to, like if they are a team that has already made it. There is never an excuse not to try on defense, no matter where your offense is. Everytime, there seem to be a couple of teams that seem to be more focused, more aligned. I thought it was the coach, but this team, many of the players are just insufferable.

Pathetic loss part of a pathetic stretch where the coach wondered out loud if they were going to show what they were made of and they probably just are.

Embarrassing effort. Win or lose, this effort is pathetic.
