I believe Cam Payne has the highest plus minus on Knicks the entire season - may be wrong and last night he had the highest +6.
Sure some of his shots are whack BUT he pushes the pace, he attacks quickly and he moves the ball. He also hasn't hurt us on D.
Brunson comes in the game and the offense flows like a giant cement mixer --- hate watching iso Brunson offense.
I'm beginning to not like KAT and Brunson offense. Those guys should be much much better at executing and getting going, and not in just an ISO standpoint.
We have an elite center that can catch-shoot and/or catch-drive finish with the very best in the league BUT our PG doesn't even acklowledge Kat on the floor. In fact - if he does acknowledge Kat it's usually to waive him away or he'll give it to him in a non-shooting position if all of his shot options are closed.
This is why we have Kat getting the ball off NO ACTION and standing there going one-one -- eventually crashing to the rim.
Compare that to Porzingis who got at least 10 wide open 3's off action his teammates created for him.
If Derrick White and Porzingis can run pick and pop and get wide open 3's how come Jalen/Kat can't?
One answer is Brunson, another is Thibs not calling that enough and a 3rd is teams leaving Josh Hart to close out on Kat.
