We literally have a truly elite starting 5. Each guy is showing that they are tops in the league in their role. Brunson the finisher, KAT doing the heavy lifting scoring and rebounding at levels Ewing only touched in his best years. OG/Mikal the defensive sniping wings and Josh Hart.

I ended up watching the TNT guys call the game (Orl) I must have been living in a bizarro world cause Reggie Miller was preaching Knicks and he was making great points. He also called Josh the best glue player in the league. "Anything you need to win the game this guy does. Hit a bit shot, make a pass, grab a rebound, dive on the floor, get a stop... he just does it all" 14ppg, 8rebs, 6assists, 1.5 steals.

Also Thibs putting the ball in his hands more is equally brilliant. He's our worst shooter so rather than letting defenses sag force them to guard him else he goes right to the hole where's scoring at a Wilt Chamberlain %

Im finding the "hate" by ESPN and others coincided with losing. Many times we got knicks on a national broadcast and on the bad end of a not so close game and they gotta call as they see it. It was hateful.
Now, they have reasons to be cheerful.
we fans are bit sensitive to negativity. Understandable but we have sucked and deserved much of it.

By far the best offensive team in Knicks history.

Dallas is an impressive team.

Martin and I share this dream of Mitch Beast for Herb Jones. It’s not that I don’t want Mitch. It’s just that the above playoff roster has very few holes. The $2mm of savings between Jones and Robinson gives us the ability to fill that roster (note: Chuma Okeke is putting up some weird stat lines in Westchester, like 8 steals in a game). Averaging 2.5 steals 1.5 blocks.

That second unit probably could be half the teams in the league. Or at least hold them under 100pts per game.

I genuinely believe we are this one trade away from perhaps the best constructed team of all time.

With Missi doing well, NOP doesn’t have to make any moves, but I would throw in Rokas to get this done. Other assets if needed.

And I know Huk is buried under Sims. But I think Huk will win out over time.

I’d go to war with this roster for the next 4 years and believe we can beat any team in the league in a 7 game series.

This franchise is strong. Hope this is a trade that could be managed.

Swapping Mitch for a legit bench piece is a must for this team IMO. Jericho is elite at guarding the rim and probably better in a spot minute role and Precious is best suited for heavy minutes off the bench both replacing KAT and playing next to him.

KAT has shown he’s elite 1:1 guarding guys like Jokic and Embiid. Mitch isn’t really needed for that anymore. Need a big wing off the bench to round this team into full contender status.
