DDV two comments? The one about finishing was basketball. Ex player who finished strong for the and one on his coach. I think its something that DDV worked on last year. The kid has the hops but was not a strong finisher for parts of last year. OK. Maybe not cool to yap it up in the game?

"What happens when they let you run the show".....>Not sure what that means. I get Ddv did not want the trade. I get that Thibs might have wanted Townes. That comment might not be appropriate during the game. If its beef, perhaps Rick Brunson thought it was not the time. As DDV said he "wears his heart on his sleeve". It was emotions. Get it, but perhaps need to keep it in check? I think that was his way of saying he might have been a bit out of line and the moment got to him.

DDV gets a pass. It was preseason and still just two weeks since he was traded. Minny played in Philly Friday so DDV likely was in his house over the weekend with is baby and pissed off. Maybe a house they just bought? He'll get his family moved and settle in. Minny is cold but its a nice city with respected coach and very good team.

KAT's rebounding seemed to be a little underrated. Looks like a well above average rebounder when he's playing the C position and is around the basket.

Saw the highlights and specifically the DVo and Thibs and Rick Brunson altercations and I think it's blown out of proportion. I honestly think DVo was just having fun with his ex HC and teammates. And the stuff with Rick after the game was likely a misunderstanding. We've seen this before when Spree, Oak and Mase got traded and came back. I wouldn't freak out over it.

What's up with Hart not taking shots? He hasn't taken a single shot in 3 games!

And why didn't Kolek play?

Seems like Thibs is getting down to the final rotation OR he gives Kolek a game without Payne next to see them each audition by themselves for the role.

Seems Huk vs Sims is still up for grabs.

team looks good. Got some work on that first half defense. Lots of open 3s but we cleaned that up 2nd half.

Only Jalen was negative and that's because when they made that run in the 3rd it was McBride w/ the 4 starters (that squad looked great)

Kat/OG/Bridges were good on the boards. That was a big area of concern IMO and they have looked good.

The only concern I have is we're missing shot creation apart from Brunson. I was hoping Mikal would initiate a bit more but so far he didn't.
What I'm anticipating the most is a good shooting game, we're shooting very poorly in the preaseason despite having excellent shooters. However, I have not doubt we will pulverize teams when the shots are gonna eventually fall.

What? Spree went on a foul mouth tired at Dolan. Im not saying who was right or wrong but that was out of line.
Oak? He was obvously hurt traded to Toronto and for years been volatile not just in MSG, but as assistant coach in Charlotte and his worst looks in Vegas.
DDV was out to show up Thibs and while its all going to be fine Rick was right to call DDV out. He wears a different uniform now and needed to be respectful to the coach. After the game its cool to tease and have fun. Players have love hate thing with their coaches. But during a game I think Rick was not down with DDV calling out his coach in front of the players and fans. Thats my take. Nothing that can't be talked about. DDV said he was emotional and won't apologize publicly, but he said he'll deal with hit privately.
Glad to see fire in all of them! I don't have any less respect for any of them involved.
If DDV had recently bought a house in NY im sure he is pissed.

Preseason my dudes.
Mikal did look good receiving and creating. Im thinking these dudes are still finding their way with each other.
lets not get too caught up on things. Outside of Towns and DDV the intensity was not really there.
They experiment with things and the shooting % does not count toward a thing.
I did love Towns getting 16 rebs. He is our center until otherwise noted. He is a big dude. The block on Rudy, good stuff.
Minny was missing its allstar forward and Mike Conley. Love the line "he woke up old today"............
They too will have chemistry things to work out especially with Randle whose effectiveness demands the ball.
Ant Edwards looked in form. Dude is smooth!

How smooth? Dude got four babies with four women and three in the last year.

My favorite part of the game? I was watching the feed from Minnesota, I think. Sometime in the first half we missed a shot and Hart had inside position on Gobert. The shout bounced out, there was a little fight for it while it was in the air and Hart took it from Gobert. The feed was able to capture the upclose sounds Hart said: " I'll take that". Loved it

Wont find out for 3-4 years. But its nice to hear a superstar say that and sound like they mean it for a change.
