He can guard 1's but on offense he is so much better off ball than with it. He just turned 23, and is a high BB IQ talent who played PG at a major school where he led the nation in assists. At his age, I don't think we traded up to take him as a developmental player, like Dadiet. I see him cracking the rotation at some point during the year. He can guard 1's but on offense he is so much better off ball than with it. Fair enough...but I think he was drafted because the Knicks don't see Deuce, who I love, as a classic PG who can run the offense when Brunson is on the bench. Both are 23, and though Kolec will never be the defender Miles is, McBride may not have the ability to run an offense like I think Kolec can, & is best utilized as an off-guard. Just my take and, of course, Kolek will have to earn time in the rotation. There are three classes of men; lovers of wisdom, lovers of honor, and lovers of gain. (Plato)

![]() Not sure if this is a repeat but this kid is going to be a delight. Lots of nerd basketball stuff. You can tell Thibs gonna love this kid.
If Tyler can get any semblance of Nash-Amare PnR rhythm going with Mitch or Randle, it’s over for other teams. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

Around the 33min mark “So you were the best passer in the country for the last couple years”, “oh I lead the nation in assists for the last 3 straight years.” I did not know this. ![]() Michael Kay and his bobos repeating on air the false “story” that Kolek scored a 7 out of 50 on the Wonderlic test and is illiterate and that it was a bad pick. NBA doesn’t use the Wonderlic test and the whole thing is patently false but what can you expect from schnooks who ripped the Knicks in their “fail” to sign Durant/Kyrie and beat the fire Thibs drum among other Knonsense until the bandwagon pulled up.

Started as a prank or a joke and apparently Kolek thought it was funny. But some media was still passing it off as true. You’d think ESPN has fact checkers. |

NBA isn't their most informed topic. Peter Rosenberg or one of the bobos is a Celtics fan for what that's worth. But it's bad take to claim that it's a bad pick based off that. https://vote.nba.com/en Vote for your Knicks.

That's putting it mildly. Kay is basically ignorant about the sport...something I realized many years ago. There are three classes of men; lovers of wisdom, lovers of honor, and lovers of gain. Ignorance is one thing - Kay and his sidekicks spent the past several years lazily passing on whatever Knicks clowning was in the air (while simultaneously praising how the Nets "do it right"). There was no notice of the clever and effective path to where they are now, only stale dismissal. Of course now they and all the gasbags want to talk Knicks. Anyway, this Kolek thing just showed their stripes. |

Soon AI will be able to explain it all like we are 5 year olds. And also make NBA executives obsolete. Like, is this to lock him in cheap… or will he be part of a trade in 3 days?
