Stop! Did we not see what happened to Mitchell? Do we need OG to hurt himself worse?
OG will make the decision. He is a free agent at the end of the year so he's gonna protect himself. If he gets cleared to run he can decide whether he wants to play in an elimination game or not. We don't have any imaging etc., but Dr. Sutterer implied that a sprint strain could mean missing a 2-3 games and being able to play.
I think for us only 2 things to look for - Game 6 requires him being able to run by tommorow most likely, game 7 would require him running by Friday. If he's not running he's not playing.
No such thing as a "sprint" strain.
Three categories of strains.....1,2,& 3. Thats it. I don't believe the Knicks ever released what type of strain he has but I think its safe to assume that it MAY just be a mild strain (type 1) since he is doing light workouts.
Everyone heals differently. He may be back if there is a game 7 against the Pacers, but I am of the mindset that he won't return for this series. I wouldn't rule him out if the Knicks advance to the Eastern finals though. Probably be on a minute's restrictions and bring back slowly
