![]() Spurs Envision Knicks Guard as Potential Mentor for Wembanyama: GM Not sure if Heavy.com sports is super reliable but a Frenchman to help a Frenchman makes sense. ~You can't run from who you are.~

Seems like a way for the Knicks to unload Fournier without giving up anything real. The only alternative would be Fournier’s contract being needed in a major trade. Still, my guess is Barrett would be used for that. |

We have too many guards already. I know Hield is a shooter the Knicks can use, but not at the expense of getting smaller and even worse defensively at the three. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

Knicks are already a deep team. they need to consolidate to level up, not get more spare parts ~You can't run from who you are.~

This trade is essentially the same as trading Barrett for Fournier. Prove me wrong. Hield and Fournier play near identical styles. He's a guy that puts up fake numbers. A 3 point shooter that doesn't really spread the floor cause he crowds the ball. Indiana is right to get rid of Hield but he is more of a salary dump in his final year of contract than a functional player. Barrett bulked up last offseason. I want to see what he does with conditioning this offseason. Put on the weight last season, now learn how to use it this season. He needs to work on his handle as well. But I think with a big offseason, he could have a big season. No need to rush to be rid of him for spare parts. You know I gonna spin wit it
