But of course it's always about who wasn't there. Already seeing the media cry about how Dolan didn't invite Marv Albert and Oakley. Let it go already! Those two talked **** about this franchise and have sour grapes so **** them! I wouldn't invite them either. But back to the game, so cool to score 73 first half points. We were in the zone all game. Randle was the catalyst once again in the first quarter. Came out firing! Like I've been saying, like him or not you have to respect and acknowledge Randle. He's been one of the best players in the league, especially in the first quarter, and is having one of the best seasons and comeback stories in NY sports history. If Randle plays well in the playoffs, he's going to establish himself as a star in this league. I'm really rooting for him!
So happy to see RJ finally smile and having a big game! I admit I'm biased with RJ and have a soft spot with him. He's such a good kid and I want him to succeed. He played almost perfect in this game. He took good shots, made the open shots, found Robinson for a couple of dunks and played good defense. Brunson had a decent bounce back game. IQ doesn't get talked about much but he's such a good team player. This is the type of kid who deserves a hive or stans. He played the right way, does everything on both ends and is such a likeable guy too. Got to make him a long term Knick! He's going to challenge for 6th Man Awards.
Man I’ve been charged up all weekend (I’m sure u guys already know).
But turning 50, on the day or weekend of the 50th championship celebration. Scoring 73, the year I was born and the day I was born. Then to watch the greats who are still with us and how the team responded in the second half was amazing. Scoring 73 at half????? Nobody predicted that. Wow
I worry about IQ because I want him to be a knick for ever. With Brunson here, I can’t see a path higher than 6 man. I don’t see him starting over brunson or as a SG. Maybe I’m wrong. The question is what does IQ want? If he wants to start as a PG, how do we hold onto him? There will be plenty of teams throwing money at him soon. The good and bad of being a good team from top to bottom.
