Back-up PG Deuce McBride played 6 minutes on Christmas day ..
Thibs are killing the PG (Jalen Brunson) we waited two decades to get in a half of a season.
Each game this season Thibs are giving Brunson uncalled for playing time minutes, which will lead to Brunson getting injured before the midseason games.
Brunson talent/skills are a winning playmaker/closer for only 27 to 30 minutes a game.
Forcing Brunson to play 37 to 40 minutes each night, when we have D.Rose and McBride should be a NBA felony to get Thibs Fired asap

The 76ers Doc Rivers let us Knicks have our way the first three quarters of the game keeping our Knicks lead under double digits for 3 qtr.
In the 4th quarter the 76ers shut down our offense and squeeze pass our defense for stretches throughout the final quarter with ease, letting us Knicks only score 16 points in the final quarter of the Christmas game.

Grimes had one play on defense where he over helped baseline and left his man wide open, even though when I watched the rewind, RJ was coming to help baseline. Grimes had a lot of mental errors on defense. Or overall lack of communication on defense. RJ should yell at grimes I GOT HIM.

Another moral victory I guess. We show that we can blowout weak teams and get moral victories against good team. That’s MEDIOCRITY at its FINEST!

We too fragile of a team or franchise to sustain anything positive. Now we have to stop the skidding or we might slide out the playoffs.

Agree. Been saying all year... main issue with us has been that our big three go to "do it yourself" mode when we get close or play good teams. Especially JB and RJ. We stayed away from it most of the game yesterday but if you watch the game from when we went down 3, you will see RJ and JB go into it bad. Love that we have JB, but concern was that he is a pound the ball/ shoot first PG. Not really best with RJ and Randle. Do have to mention, that despite good game from RJ against the bulls, he has the MOST tunnel vision of the three. Kid misses everyone on drives. JB is a close second. Which is not since he is the PG and has a bigger responsibility to make the right play.
Hopefully they can improve sharing the ball because they are talented scorers and have potential to improve their already high level.

I think this team has a myriad of problems, but the last few games highlight how matchup dependent our mid 3 is on offense. We don't have a guy who can get his shot anytime, anywhere on the court. I'm not the biggest Lavine fan, but I'm starting to talk myself into him. He's slowly rounding himself into shape. When he's normal, he's a guy who can get a shot off regardless of who's guarding. His problem in Chicago isn't that he can't blend in with Derozan. He did it fine last year with good efficiency. His issue is that the Bulls don't have a floor general like JB and their defensively impaired.

Agree about Bulls needing Ball/PG to facilitate.
There theri defense is not that badly rated.
There has been talk of Lavine wanting out because of fit with DeRozan.
I like Lavine but feel he does not blend well with what we have. If you are taking RJ out of the equation,imo, Lavine is slightly better player but at twice the price. That move also does not take away the fit issues. Mainly three guys that need a lot of shots
If you take away Randle, who does the heavy rebounding, guard bigger PFs and does the bullying down
Inside on offense?
You take away JB and we are back to Knicks problems for the last two decades.

Would rather see a wing that can defend and shoot the three and move RJ to the SG. We did well with that two years ago and now have a true PG and more experienced RJ and MR.
