Wake me when Fox News and Joe Rogan report that Heir Trump and your republican heroes are welcoming Victor Orban and his Nazi rhetoric with open arms as a speaker in Texas and their CPAC convention. Hungarian leader’s aide who quit over ‘race mixing’ remarks said his words have a chilling potential Flora Garamvolgyi and Shaun Walker in Budapest The Hungarian leader sparked a backlash at home and abroad with a recent speech in which he spoke out against “race mixing”. Soon after, Zsuzsa Hegedüs, a sociologist who has known Orbán for 20 years, handed in her resignation, criticising the prime minister for what she called a “pure Nazi” speech.
Insider Trading - while you and Fox News focus on Pelosi - it appears that Rome is burning......67 members of Congress have violated a law designed to prevent insider trading and stop conflicts-of-interest https://www.businessinsider.com/congress-stock-act-violations-senate-house-trading-2021-9. Maybe you should try to pay more attention son and get out there with more diversity of where you get your news sources. GOP Take-Over of the House - Yawn. You must be new to Politics. Mid-Terms always favor the part out of power. Dems will lose the House and based on history - should also lose the Senate if not for the bumbling within the GOP picking candidates like Hershel Walker and Dr. Oz. Printing Money - maybe you can be more specific. In case your memory fails you - The Rescue plan was so 2021 and a result of coming out of a global emergency related to COVID. The Government has been in the business of printing money regardless of party. Recession has been predicted by economists for some time during the previous Presidency and a carry-over from COVID. Kids - luckily I have kids who will carry on my legacy. It sounds like you don't - but perhaps there's still hope that your bloodline and legacy does not with you. Impeachment - double yawn. The GOP will probably be on the clock starting next January. If they are somehow successful in removing Biden (perhaps you can explain what he will be impeached for) ......then Harris will become the first woman POTUS. Given the misogynistic views you have shown on this board - I can only assume you're negative views about this. China - Pelosi has left Taiwan - has the war started yet? |

Titi has already said how thankful he is for Trump lowering gas prices. How Desantis would be a great foreign diplomat. This guy is hilarious. Tunes into Newsmax, Fox, Info wars, Tucker and Rogan and thinks that is the reality. As we saw in Kansas, Republicans are waking up to what these right wing dinosaurs, like Titi, are trying to do with the country. Which is bring it back to the 50's. If you want to start a whole bunch of other topics about politics in other threads, that's up to you. I'm going to talk about Nancy Pelosi and why this Taiwan trip was a bunch of bull**** designed to change the media coverage she was getting that was going to piss off tons of working class people struggling to get by and watch her rub their noses in her grift and wealth.
CNN's Manu Raju also asked her about the COVID19 relief package that Pelosi slow walked for clearly partisan reasons. You wanted "diversity of news sources"? That's CNN. Their slant is clearly to the left and they had no choice but to call Pelosi on her bull****. How the **** do you think the average working class person is going to react when Pelosi rubs her $25,000 refrigerators and $13 tubs of ice cream while her husband engages in open insider trading and both of them pretend like the law doesn't apply to them. You can attack me all you want. All this bull**** that Pelosi brought onto herself will come home to roost when the GOP retakes the House of Representatives. They are clearly going to have lots of public hearings, drag Pelosi and her husband and her son through the public wringer and then try to put her in prison. This isn't complicated. Although you want to try to divert to topic away from Pelosi, China and the reasons why she'd want to go risk all of America's national security and risk World War III so the mainstream media will talk about something else besides her drunk husband ramming into people with his Porsche. Biden, the sitting President and the current Commander In Chief said don't go. The US military advised her not to go because it would risk potential war and military conflict. Pelosi went anyway. It's NOT the job of the Speaker of the House to engage in foreign policy. Why don't you make even a cursory attempt to discuss the actual topic within the thread instead of just attacking myself because you just don't like my viewpoints? Inflation and the fear of what will happen to the American economy is the NUMBER ONE issue for all polled voters in the coming Mid Terms. People are worried about how to feed their kids. The demographics at UK tends to skew a little bit older and there are more retired people here like myself and Briggs and others, but lots of folks are really hurting out there. They have no desire to see more of Nancy Pelosi's grifter bull****. They certainly don't want to risk World War because Nancy Pelosi wants the mainstream media to talk about something else besides her greed and hypocrisy and corruption while rubbing her wealth in the faces of every day people. |

Did you ever stop to think that there are people here who post at UK who have been impacted by the stupidity and reckless criminal behavior of drunk drivers? Did you even bother to stop, pause and give a single **** about that before you rationalized the bull**** of a drunk driver? Here's an easy solution - More information. The more information that comes out about the insider trading and the kind of media firestorm it creates around Nancy Pelosi, the more it explains her ill conceived and dangerous trip to Taiwan that risked the lives of people all around the world. RISKED YOUR LIFE. RISKED THE LIVES OF YOUR CHILDREN. RISKED THE LIVES OF EVERYONE HERE. RISKED THE LIVES OF ALL AMERICANS. Paul Pelosi is too much of a stuck up arrogant drunk ******* to call an Uber. So the rest of us here have to think about total nuclear holocaust because his psychotic wife needs to change the story in the mainstream media. You talk about "justifications", go on, in front of everyone here, try to justify this insane bull**** that Nancy Pelosi is pulling here. |

America should be leading the world in the fight againt corruption, it cannot afford having even the perception of allowing such a problem to fester right in the middle of its senior leadership. I hope these allegations are seriously investigated. Or soon enough the public will clamor for America's own version of Navalny. And if Biden is a man of integrity, he should have someone take a hard honest look at the life his son is leading. |

Then you are well aware of the extensive compliance infrastructure that Wall Street firms have in place against insider trading: Chinese Walls, trade monitoring and pre-approval, lists of restricted securities, outright bans on trading certain instruments, etc. Applying to employees, as well as to their families. A close family member making successful leveraged bets on single company-name securities where an employee may have access to inside info would trigger a major investigation both from the relevant firm and the regulatory authorities. Is Capitol Hill subject to similar restrictions and supervision? Having them would make sense. I am only aware of the 45 days trade reporting requirement. |

And, unlike you, I try to back up my claims with facts and explanations instead of just hurling unprovoked empty insults accusing people of stupidity. A case in point, here is a claim made by you. HofstraBBall wrote:Btw, firms don't investigate insider trading, the SEC does. Yet in the below example, we see that firms actually do conduct insider trading investigations internally. MICHAEL J. GARCIA, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced today that JENNIFER WANG, 31, and her husband RUBIN CHEN, 34, of Englishtown, New Jersey, pleaded guilty in Manhattan federal court to insider trading charges. The trading took place based on material nonpublic information that WANG obtained from her former employer, Morgan Stanley, regarding acquisitions of three publicly traded companies. For your reference, Morgan Stanley and ING are financial firms, i.e. the proverbial "Wall Street" in this case. So, how did your traders like their falafels? Plain or extra spicy? N.B. Your rant about Pelosi not violating this or that rule was also off the mark. If you were to read my prior post more carefully, you would have seen that I was well aware of the possibility that different rules may apply to members of Congress than to Wall Street employees. And I asked an honest question to clarify that point. You could have educated me, but instead you chose to hurl unprovoked empty insults. |
