This game needed more Burks and more free throws

That was one of most painful games to watch this season. Not because we lost but because of those damn zebras and all the damn fouls. How can anyone enjoy watching Harden play basketball? It's almost like cheating. And you know the zebras were instructed to give him and Embiid as many foul calls as possible since it was a national TV game. There just no way any player in today's NBA can get to the line 27 times! I always kind of liked Embiid and admired his game but he really rubbed me the wrong way trying to be a bigger Hardenish clown. Whatever.

Even with all of that, we had a lead in the fourth with the kids so I'm very proud of them. There was just no chance we were going to win this game. But there were some good signs from some of the kids. RJ was again aggressive and played like he was the alpha. He's having the ball way more in his hands than earlier in the season and he took 22 shots and Randle ended up with 13. I'd like that continue. The turnovers and FTs are still an issue but he'll get better. It was good to see IQ have a good game (21 points, 5 assists, 8 FT attempts). He should have had more then 5 assists but Randle missed like 3 layup's and 2 wide open threes. Very proud of Sims! It doesn't get any tougher than Embiid with the zebras in his pocket and the kid did a nice job even though he fouled out. Also liked what I saw from Reddish but he's got to get more then 17 minutes.

Yeah rose is a huge part of our success. I agree that we were headed for the lotto before we got rose .

Quick had a nice game, played way more aggressive looking to score. I wanna see quick play like today for the rest of the way. He’s very capable of scoring a lot of pts.

Thibs obsession with Burks is really hurting this team (or helping).

Honestly it’s having someone stabilize the offense and Rose is worth 5-7 more wins for this team if he’s out there.

The energy of Simms was fun to watch tonight. When they get out and go it’s a different team. McBride needs some minutes just to disrupt Maxey and make some guys uncomfortable.

This one is on RJ and Randle. RJ forced shots all night, never got anyone else going and was sloppy with the ball. Same for Randle. Consistently throwing ****ty passes.

Leon Rose gets an F for the offseason, worst in the league with cap clutter. But, loses are wins at this point. We need another asset to move in a trade.

Jazz are going to have to move Mitchell and that’s the only way this team becomes relevant.

Love how sims competed. His energy spread to the team. Now when he plays against a regular starting big, he will have more confidence. That’s the benefit of playing the young guys. He looked like he belongs.

I believe when Deuce get those steals and turnovers on defense he will also energize the team and put better pressure on PGs than IQ. Haven’t checked but seems like everybody IQ is guarding lately goes off.

Exactly……Burks hasn’t played PG since HS. I can see sliding him over during the game depending on matchups. What I don’t get is Deuce suppose to be Thibs guy.
