If you don't produce in the NBA enough to stay in the rotation past your rookie year, your career usually ends up in deep ****.

Knox is the Kelly McGillis of the NBA. Like McGillis, Knox was sitting on the top of the "This Game Will Age Like Milk" tree and hit every single branch on the way down.

How does Knox improve enough to be trade fodder if Thibs won't play him. Who can blame Thibs for not wanting to play him?

Agree he has done zero and has very little chance of changing that. Hoping he does though. As mentioned, okay with trading him if he is part of a package for a good player. Or if included as a way to move up in the first round. Also mentioned that if we draft/sign a solid player, he will likely be a casualty. Still My OPINION is that I would rather another year of the 22 year old than adding another 2025 second.

My main point with guys like Knox or Frank is that it is not our biggest concern. They are borderline rotation players. Why so much concern or attention? Kinda like referencing the aging of C level actors and actresses NO ONE who is still relevant has ever heard of.

C level--man anthony edwards was Gilbert lowe!!!!

Borderline rotation players we wasted nice first round picks on. That's why nobody's stampeding the board (with the rare exception) to trade away Mitch or IQ. And it's why people are so concerned with the results of people like say, DSJr and Frank Kaminsky.

Yes, there are obviously first round busts. But nobody likes busts on their own team. Or do they?

Hearing over and over again about how youthful and filled with promise and prospective talent they are gets about as old as hearing about that magical three weeks of Linsanity over and over again. Especially after a few years.

What are you talking about? Kevin can be the next Frank N!

As mentioned, my point is he is not a big concern. Other than reminding us of another first round bust. Who made that pick anyway? What do you think we should we do with Kevin? Besides I what mentioned I would be okay with? Do not think we are turning down offers for him? Do we have guys waiting to take his spot on the roster? Just do not see a FO mentioning either Frank or Knox besides as an after thought. Kinda like being offered a free oil change after purchasing a $75k car. Think Rose will keep pushing trades that include Fran, Knox, Obi and a box of rusty nails left after the MSG renovations. But at the end of the day, feel there will be no takers and the Kentucky gang will sell Rose on giving him another year. Or the fact Rose knows there is not much gained for selling low. Who knows. Just hope we sign Frank to a max. Just want to see PhilC happy.

Rather focus my attention in past Knick stars, former Knick presidents, the upcoming draft and free agency.

Go Gmen!!

It's not a direct swap though; this is not just Kevin for whatever second round pick you can get.

It's also about the roster spot and the time and energy you put in one player versus the next.

Minutes going to a player who does have some sense, drive, and enough potential to fill out. There will be plenty of hungrier, young guys at the beginning of their careers like Jerami Grant, Jae Crowder, Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler, Trevor Ariza, Cameron Payne who are either sitting on the bench or sitting on someone else's bench that you could fill that roster spot with and actually have it as a plus.

So what's the exact trade? Whose minutes is he taking? Said several times I would be okay with many scenarios. Have yet to see where one was turned down. I do not see Rose as a sell low type of guy with no reason to do so. Besides fans thinking he should be further along.

Imagine Coming Home 2! LMAO This board would go nuts.

Not quite sure where they're going, from what I'm reading, other than betting the farm on Saquan's knees. That O-line looks like it's going to be the reason Danny Dimes retires early... or Barkley ends up back on the IR... or both

I get visions of all these shiny new offensive weapons spending their time here watching DJ get sacked or chased to the sidelines while the ball sails out of bounds.

Think he loves Portland. Unless Dame gets dealt to the Knicks for Knox, Frank and Obi. Then he will sign with CP3. Would like to see him finally play alongside LBJ.

Barkley will be fine. Or he will do a STAT. Sorry. Hoped they would pick up more on the lines. Miss the sackathon during the chip years. Also wanted more on the defensive side of the ball. Seems like we have been focused more on the O side in recent years. Maybe we can sign LT to turn some heads? One thing for sure, we need Danny's to put up.
